Need Something To Do Monday?

Posted By on Mon, Jun 9, 2014 at 2:47 PM

Sports are often a part of youth. You play for hours in fields and backyards on lost endless summer days. Then you grow up, and sometimes it's hard to get out of your chair because the active lifestyle has ceased yet you continue to eat all the refreshments you'd have after the game.

Round up your family, friends and athletic acquaintances to form your own softball team for the ages through the City of Boise. You may not qualify for a gold medal, but you can eat as many rice krispie treats as you want when the game is over.

8:30 a.m. $374 per team plus fees. Boise City Recreation Office, 110 Scout Ln., Boise, 208-384-4256, cityofboise.org./parks.
