Struggling to find balance between elk and wolves in a changing ecosystem

Balancing the needs of species can be tricky, especially when economics, lifestyle and tradition comes into the equation. Things have gotten particularly sticky in the Lolo are in North Idaho, where once plentiful elk numbers have plummeted.
"We're pleased to see a new era on the horizon for Idahoans with developmental disabilities. Hopefully this settlement will bolster the voice of these Idahoans, while also permanently protecting their constitutional rights."
