A list of restaurants serving special Turkey Day meals

If your family leaves you home alone to cry over a box of Stove Top this Thanksgiving or your entire crew is culinarily challenged, fear not. A number of Boise restaurants will be open this Turkey Day serving a mix of traditional and specialty dishes.
So you pulled a Clark Griswold and cooked your Christmas turkey until its innards evaporated into a puff of steam. But, hey, at least your goose isn't cooked--there are plenty of restaurants that will serve your family a non-burnt meal on Christmas Day.
Though you're not likely to find a bounty of ripe tomatoes and a rainbow of organically grown bell peppers this early in the season, the meat, cheese, bread and flower representation should be substantial.
Dinner reservations this Valentine's Day could be particularly difficult to come by since many of Boise's most popular eateries take a day of rest on Sunday. But you may get lucky. With a table, that is.
Eureka! Boise will feature 40 craft-beer taps, small-batch spirits (with a focus on whiskey), and a scratch-kitchen American menu with uncommon options like osso buco riblets, truffle cheese fries, fried-chicken sliders, lobster tacos and a variety of burgers.
