A nice neighborhood haunt, but not worth the commute

The only real distinction between the eastside Westside Drive-In and the original is the vibe. Instead of a charmingly dilapidated throwback to '50s car culture, it is a manufactured homage to the glamorized '50s diner in a town already saturated with them.
The motive was unclear and a description of the suspect had not been released as of sunrise on Friday. However, police said if anyone had information regarding the shooting incident, they're urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
Several pieces of the plaza are still being prepped for full operation, however, including the Main Street Station multi-modal transit center, which is set to begin bus service the morning of Monday, Oct. 24.
