The push for closed primaries is on.
Idaho Republican Party Chairman J. Kirk Sullivan introduced a bill to the Senate State Affairs Committee this morning that would force primary elections to be open to registered party members only.
Word came this afternoon that the Idaho Attorney Generals office has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit against Secretary of State Ben Ysursa.
The plaintiffs in the case are 71 members of the Idaho Republican party, who filed the suit in an effort to close state Republican primaries.
Felonies were filed Oct. 21 against March, who has been charged with felony counts of 1st Degree Murder, Burglary and Grand Theft. Barclay has been charged with felony counts of Burglary and Grand Theft, and is currently in custody.
