      After months of consideration, Boise City Council Member Alan Shealy announced he will run for re-election.

      Shealy filed his paperwork allowing him to collect and spend campaign funds last week, ending speculation over whether he would run the Council, the Senate, or not at all.

  • Candidate with a Cause?

      Boise has its first non-incumbent candidate for city council.

      Shaun Stamper filed paperwork earlier this spring allowing him to collect and spend money on a campaign for seat no. 1 on the council. The seat is currently held by Alan Shealy, who is not seeking re-election.

  • Happy 100th

      The City of Boise is celebrating a milestone of sorts: They've towed 100 cars under the so-called "scofflaw ordinance."

      The city enacted the rule at the beginning of the year. Vehicles of drivers with numerous unpaid parking tickets to be impounded until fees are collected.
