Editors' Picks

While performing arts academies have always been pretty legit, training the next generation of great performers and cultivating creativity, Eagle Performing Arts Center took it a step further. EPAC has a gallery at its epicenter, and this year, it hosted works by Black Hunger Gallery artists Eli Craven and Maria Chavez, and artist Tyler James Bush's Home on the Strange exhibition. With opening receptions that frequently include music and more, EPAC's Art Space continues to give artsy downtown dwellers a reason to head out to Eagle. 1125 E. State St., Eagle, 208-338-4633, epacdance.com
