Wonderful selection of Idaho Artists!
Apologies, I forgot to mention in my last comment I was referring to Celina & Ben Innocent's exhibition at the Boise center.
I have a few suggestions regarding s photo collection at the Boise Center. The lowest hung photos need to be raised. You need to kneel / sit on the floor to appreciate them. The accompanying text is small, difficult to read and at times difficult to make sense of. Why choose such large frames? No one wants to buy art that's 70% empty space !
References to Northwest Artists Cooperative should show the correct address of 509 Sherman Ave, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 and a correction of the website to www.northwestartists.net
Jenifer at Studio J stepped in and helped me at the last minute when my previous venue fell through for my daughter's sweet 16. She was very kind and generous to me in a desperate time. The two bathrooms were more than enough for the 50+ people we had present. The loft accomodations were great for the DJ, his crew and all the lighting. There was ample parking for the guests. Jenifer kept in close touch with me, helped me with a few glitches I ran into that had NOTHING to do with her space (bouncer etc). They were pretty accommodating throughout the process. The space has so much potential for so many different events! I recommend looking into this venue!
I also used studio J. They didn't follow through with a lot of what they had told us they would. Specifically the deposit we put down for a bar service they didn't provide. They refused to refund the money and now don't return any of my calls. I would steer clear of these people.
I booked this place and regretted it. The owners are not trustworthy. Jennifer promised many things and delivered nothing. Be prepared to clean the space before you use it and move a lot of heavy furniture. No impressed at all…
Very cool space, but not great for large events considering it only has two bathrooms. Limited parking as well. Contact people were unresponsive and difficult to reach after booking and paying for the date. They were prone to promising alot and delivering very little - be prepared to be very flexible and accommodating if you use this event space. Also not sure if the building is up to city code - if not it would be impossible to bring any vendor in for catering food or drinks.

This gallery shows not only artists from the Idaho School of Art and Craft, but also many, many other local artists, including members of the Treasure Valley Artists' Alliance. Artists include Pam McKnight, Vicki Stevenson, Bonnie Peacher, Dee Miller, Lisa Flowers-Ross, Nancy Panganiban, and more! I went to the opening and was SUPER impressed!
good quality product, well done,, I liked it!!
Think this is an "honest business"? Think again! Negative reviews that were left in the past have magically been removed. You cannot trust a company that hides its customer feedback. There are far too many local businesses struggling in this economy, find one that truly cares about their customer service and customer opinions. All the owners of this gallery care about is putting forth a false image to trick unsuspecting customers. Beware!!!
best venue in town!
The Vac is awesome! Supporting local artists of all types with an open mind and heart! Thank you!
