Well I have a lot of years with the people that cook in the golden star. My mother used to work for release Golden Dragon at 9th and Main for about 15 years. Her name was Emma Louie and Henry and all of them down there were amazing Cooks I learn to eat with chopsticks and I loved egg foo young we had it often. Daily Chinese restaurant that I will go to in Boise is the golden star and their food is absolutely awesome. Try your number to and if you like egg foo young instead of chow mein do a reversal and enjoy will have a little gravy with it too.. he will find the whole dinner is an amazing good dinner.
We came to Moons on a Sunday for brunch. We had to step over a blob of food on the carpet right where the hostess seated us. She came back to pick it up but there were lots of other tables available. Our waitress brought water but never came back. After 20 more minutes we flagged down another one who took our order. The kid who brought our order later was polite and came back twice to check on us. The food was poor in both taste and presentation, except for the pancakes--but how can you mess up pancakes?? Hash browns were good, too. We won't go back. Lots of places in Boise with great service and good food!!
They serve locally roasted coffee that is less than a week old! Amazing espresso, pastries, and cool vibe. Make sure and try the cold brew... best in town!
Locally owned and benevolent!
- Boise coffee lover
very pleased with their selection of roasted coffee bean, and enjoy stopping in for a cup.
this coffeeshop offers to deliver curbside with a pre-order phone call... however, I do wish they had a drive up window. the staff is friendly... the coffee and homemade treats are delicious. the decor inside is quirky but the patio outside needs a little attention. an attempt to conceal the view of the highway would make the world of difference to create an attractive & private more intimate setting. summertime music on friday nights is casual and entertaining. and open mike night is enjoyable as well... highly recommended that you stop by and see for yourself
Thanks for the heads up on the racist decor. I WAS going to take my kids to have breakfast there.
The Original Buster's is now located on edgewood and State in downtown Eagle. If you haven't come to visit us in a while, stop in for amazing food and friendly, fun wait staff! We have daily specials on food and drinks in addition to the best happy hour in Eagle. You won't want to leave, The Original Buster's Bar and Grill.
I'd like to thank Chandler's management for finding better music on Tuesday evenings. Now that Esteban "The Hairy Gargoyle" Anastasio has moved onto other opportunities, I and my friends can again enjoy The Saz and your sensational appetizers right after work on Tuesdays. Mike Rosenthal is fantastic and his music is much better suited to your establishment! Thanks again for the major upgrade in your Tuesday early eve music. I'm sure you'll be glad you made the change. Thanks again!!
Had a long wait for for table, we could see many tables were unoccupied but several were waiting, the food, we got soft greasy fries, hamburger fell apart after a couple bites greasy fish.. disappointing meal. My husband had a stomach ache after eating say one third of his burger.
Place used to be really cool.... Showed up 45 min before posted closing time along with three other customers and employees turned off lights and flipped open sign to closed. Used to love this place. Been horribly unsatisfactory my last few visits and this is my last.
Worst decision ever. Got sick and manager laughed at my misery. That's what felon made food will do to you.have another drink dave.
Bully somebody else. Wow here comes another ambulance. I wonder if they put ambulance ride on the bill.hope the customer is ok. I wasn't
I fail to see a reason for the praise of this eatery. I've eaten there a half-dozen times and every time I come away with the same opinion ... cafeteria food. Highly overrated.
Excellent fresh fish, menu choices, staff. Fantastic remodel allows for natural light, soft colors. My first choice when wanting good, authentic sushi!
I've traveled around the world. This is authentic Indian. The buffet is mild for Idaho taste buds. Delicious! Super great deal!
The bacon at Berryhill's is out of this world; the best I've ever had anywhere, hands down! However, the rest of the experience is mediocre at best. The service is not good. We had to ask to have a table cleaned and I'm not a fan of not having wait staff to ensure that everything is to my liking. We had to go find our own silverware, drinks, etc. The price point is way too high for not providing wait staff...Not a fan and I wouldn't go back.
This is a beautiful dining experience, with Sinatra music sung by a gentleman that made us think Sinatra himself was singing, and the Filet Mignon is the best I have ever had. Worth the time and money to drive out and have an elegant dinner.
This place rocks! We love great sushi and this place is a class act! Listen great sushi is hard to find even though the offering is plentiful. As far as the anti sake nazi or whatever, maybe you should let folks know your not interested. Personally I would appreciate the dramatics and show if I was paying for the Tepanyaki. Maybe close your mouth if the sake stream heads for you instead of disparaging a true gem!
Oh by the way my wife and I are actual chefs. Whom love this place. I'm currently running a 4.5 million dollar operation.
Give this place your business! They and you deserve it!
Pam have a drink, and go take your nap.
I previously dined at Addie"s several times where i had the best Blueberry pancakes in town served by a pleasant young waiter. I vowed to go back.
Big Mistake. My last visit,(and I do mean last) was completely different. After a long bike ride, I was craving biscuits and gravy. Big Mistake. The owner took my order without the hint of a smile. When I went to wash my hands in the bathroom, discovered the trash can over flowing in a stuffy bathroom with what appeared to be dark mold growing on the walls. That should have given me pause.
My eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy arrived on a greasy plate, greasy even on the bottom. Eggs and bacon were fine but as hard as I tried to like the biscuits and gravy, I could hardly get a bite down. Jelled sugary- sweet gravy with not a hint of sausage over some ok biscuits. No tip.
I came in here for a birthday party. Was here for maybe five minutes looking for my husbands friend couldn't find him so decided to get a drink and wait, my husband and I (we are in our 20s) sat down at the bar, I handed the bartender our IDs (SHE) told me and my husband [HER BOSS TOLD HER SHE COULDN'T SERVE US BECAUSE WE CAME IN STAGGERING].. I had not been drinking at all. I watched her serve people that were more intoxicated then my husband.finally ran into my husbands friend, told him and he was like really, she served him and he had been drinking more than my husband. I Will not ever spend my money here again.
What a wide swing in entertainment: from the highs of Sandy and Curt to the horrible lows of Tamblacka. Come on, John! Screen the music better. The quality of your food deserves it. I'll keep coming in for the great burgers; making sure the BlackBalka Band won't be there to ruin the flavor. Food Good, Band Bad.
Arrived for lunch and when looking for my group the greeter said "your bad group is back behind the kitchen ". We waited for a long time and had to ask for the server to take our orders. They said they ran out of frys for the last couple of our party as they served them. No offer to discount their meals. The first to get served finished their meals before the last of our group were served. And the food was poor. One example was green peppers in the blueberry pancakes. :(
I will never go there again.
