Re: “Luciano's Italian Restaurant

It started in the poorly-lit parking lot where reaching the entrance is a gauntlet of trip hazards for able-bodied patrons, let alone those with a handicap. The entrance is a nightmare, with no room to move and even less room to sit/stand and wait. The entrance is also the bar ??? – it’s congested chaos. A yurt was set up outside in the parking lot for diners waiting to be seated inside the restaurant, and rather than a wait person taking our drink order, putting it on our tab, and bringing it to us, we had to elbow our way between folks seated at the bar to buy our own and carry it outside. Pandemonium.

Our food was so-so, and the pasta was bland and flat because the water it was cooked in was obviously not salted. There’s no way to correct that once it’s covered in sauce – clearly someone in the kitchen doesn’t know what they’re doing. I’ve eaten in plenty of Italian eateries both in the US and Italy, and this one us about as “authentic” as its garlic bread, Italian dressing, spaghetti (with meatballs) and deep fried mozzarella sticks – Italians don’t eat any of this.

Re: “Luciano's Italian Restaurant

Luciano's is our ALL-TIME favorite restaurant. We absolutely love the specials - always something new, intriguing, and *delicious*. This is the only restaurant where I love the house wines - they are fabulous. The chocolate cake is a must, even if we have to take it home :-).

Re: “Bella Aquila

We went to Bella Aquila the first time on Mother's Day 2014 and had an early dinner 4:30 PM because that was the only time available. Our waiter said that they had over 400 people there that morning/afternoon for brunch. We were impressed that the waiter was so pleasant after serving people all day. The food was GREAT, service wonderful. I am gluten free and they had pasta for me! We took 2 other couples there for dinner in October, 2014 and again, GREAT! Will be back soon with 12 ladies for lunch! Make your reservations direct with restaurant.

Re: “Luciano's Italian Restaurant

We just moved to Boise and I feel most restaurants are not very good! We came from Boulder, CO. amazing restaurants everywhere. Tonight we looked to see what had the highest ratings that was close to where we live and found Luciano's they did not disappoint! Service was amazing our food was amazing, everything was well seasoned, great menu choices, and their were a lot of people there when we arrived at 5:00 which is always a good sign! They need to expand as it is small but well worth the trip!

Re: “A'Tavola

I feel like the Linen district gets missed and with that many people are missing out on this place. This shop is lovely and it has a fun charming air about it. It also has great delicious food. It has good portions I never feel as if I over eat and I am not still hungry after I eat. The food quality is great everything tastes fresh and it tastes just baked. It is wonderful a wonderful place.

Re: “Louie's Pizza and Italian Restaurant

Still my favorite pizza, and Louie's has always been a big supporter of their community--unlike the chain restaurants we keep getting.

Re: “Bella Aquila

We have been there I believe four times. I usually have the Mediterraneo. I've never had a problem with them. The food that my wife and I get is the best Italian food we had in a long long time. We lived in Norco Ca., where they used to have a restaurant as good as this.....and they are as rare as hens teeth to find. Beautiful scenery looking out to the river and very pleasant surroundings.

Re: “Fresh Betty Spaghetti

Fantastic meatballs. Great flavor and LARGE! Noodles could be thinner. Overall, a hit. Reasonably priced. Need to come to Boise.

Re: “Fresh Betty Spaghetti

This is a pretty good product but not outstanding. The noodles are incredibly fat and most people I know prefer a thinner noodle. Just make a few adjustments and you will hit it out of the park.

Re: “Fresh Betty Spaghetti

You should state on Your advertisements "Limited Delivery" as folks who are elderly and unable to get out depend on delivery services which Your ad states and this is false advertisement as You do not deliver to everyone.

Re: “Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria-Downtown

Excellent food, solid service, one of the best in Boise for late-night dining.

Re: “Garlic Charley's

Unfortunately you are correct and would have been better off going to the well known Pizza Hut. At least there you will be treated with some respect and good food. This is not a place worth even visiting their Facebook Page.

Re: “Garlic Charley's

Terrible food and unprofessional environment. I will never support a small company that lacks people skills or common courtesy.

Re: “Alavita

LOVE IT....Alavita hits the spot. If you're in the mood for some really good, fresh, local, Northern Italian cuisine served up with plenty of style and flare then this is the place for you. The decor is fun without being too pretentious. The mood is friendly, carefree, and social. This will be a fave in the summer time when the garage doors open up to the street and patrons can eat and drink al fresco. The menu is small compared to the likes of Asiagos a few blocks away but still manages to afford a little bit of everything. I've had both bar and table service and both were excellent. Must try: Rissoto and the salty caramel cream dessert...YUM!

Re: “Louie's Pizza and Italian Restaurant

I love Louie's and I think the lunch buffet is a steal. If you book a party with them they are the best. Wonderful hot food and served promptly so all at party are eating together. The Sunday buffet is a special treat for special occasions!! Many times they have singers come to seranade you. One man has a gorgeous italian singing voice who also works as a server for your party.

Re: “Gino's Italian Ristorante

I've been going to Gino's since I was a little kid and the were still on the second floor in downtown Boise. The food was great then and it's just as good now. I have never had a problem with their service or with my food. Yes I do have to say that sometimes it takes a bit of time to get your food, but what is the rush?!? It is itallian dining, being Italian myself I don't mind waiting a couple extra min for my food. It's. never a lout how quick they get you your food it is about enjoying the food and the people you are with.
Gino, please keep doing what you are doing and don't let these people with no concept of Italian dining affect your wonderful business. Far as I am concerned you have a customer for life, no matte the cost to me it is well worth every cent
