Arrived for lunch and when looking for my group the greeter said "your bad group is back behind the kitchen ". We waited for a long time and had to ask for the server to take our orders. They said they ran out of frys for the last couple of our party as they served them. No offer to discount their meals. The first to get served finished their meals before the last of our group were served. And the food was poor. One example was green peppers in the blueberry pancakes. :(
I will never go there again.
This is my wife and I's Valentine dinner location for the last 23 years. Two 3 1/2 lbs of Steamer Clams with 1/2 and 1/2 salad and fries. Clams are the best in the valley. Sorry to see them closing. Heading that way for clams today (wife's birthday).
Great sandwiches, beers on tap, & live music in a friendly atmosphere.
Racist décor- Unfortunately we did not notice the racist décor until after our meal. When we let the server know that the décor was offensive, she let us know that they all knew it was offensive as they have had complaints before but the owner refuses to take down their ‘Mammys’ because they are part of her grandfather’s “Mammy collection” (as if this explanation makes it ok? If my grandfather was a Nazi, I wouldn’t display his regalia)… Server’s response was “You can’t change everyone”. Nope, sure can’t but I can decide to not eat breakfast surrounded by willful ignorance. I will not be returning to The Griddle. I will be encouraging others to find other restaurant options.
Why is the "Mammy" stereotype harmful to African American women? Here are a few links:

We went to Moon's this Saturday. It looked crowded so I went in and asked how long the wait would be the hostess said 10 minutes. We decided to wait. After20 minutes we were still waiting. Long story short the service was horrible. We gave our waitress our order are 11:34 our food was finally served at 12:14, way to long for breakfast. No offer of coffe while we were waiting. The food was good, but by the time we had already waited so long and were ignored, the food did not matter. Everyone has a bad day so we will go again but will leave if the wait for a simple breakfast is too long.
Hands down my fave cafe in town. Ive tried alot of the dishes and Ive never had anything bad here. Really friendly staff. I only go to Park center location, you can have coffee while your waiting to get inside.
Eds 50s cafe is not the Korner bistro. We are open from 6 am to 230 pm 7 days a week.
Very good sports pub!! The service is good, the football is even better, and the food was phenomenal! I really liked the owner and all of the servers. They were all so quick and all so helpful. The food is for everyone. I would recommend the Prime Time Sandwhich, absolute fav. There were lots of sports playing so I never got bored. I am a true beer fan and they have almost everything you can think of. I truly recommend the place and continue to still go there. Great place.
Don't waste your time. You will be pissed you did.
This place is a joke poorly runned and the food not much better either. I order a calzone and onion rings and took them 50 mins with only two or three customers dinning in and it look about 5 or 6 people working. No Togo menus said its on the Internet,no being sorry for taking so long or please comeback again.I live in boise when I got home calzone
leaked grease all over my car seat, nothing but greasy soggy bread, sausage had no flavor tasted like ground up pork with no seasoning.$7 for a little bag of onion rings!!I saw the cook doing hot dogs and frys while I was having beer he wasnt using gloves to handle food all the time.I could tell more but beware this isn't Chicago food!! I think the owners do not know how to run a food business.I have read a lot bad comments on this place on the Internet and I wished I read them before I went.
Great food, great atmosphere, live music, what else is there to say!
We had an amazing breakfast experience on Friday. As soon as we were seated the waitress brought our water, then returned timely to take our orders. We ordered the corned beef hash w/house potatoes & sourdough, and chicken friend steak with house potatoes and the pancake. CB&H was very good, very authentic, but the sourdough toast was a little too dry - the strawberry jelly helped. The chicken fried steak was great, but that pancake was TO DIE FOR! Most flavorful pancake I've EVER had. BTW, the food was served expeditiously, and hot, and our server I found out later was the owner. What a great experience we had! Loved it!
great food, unique and diverse menu, very friendly & family run, reasonable prices
What a ridiculous excuse for a bar, this place blows... the liquor selection is one of the worst I've seen in the treasure valley. GET a CLUE SARA you BIG Girl
The owner is a pig nosed snob with a rude stare you can't miss her . The staff is great. Was a customer for 5 years only to be kicked out for hearsay. The crowed is old ugly alcoholic men with nothing better to do then ease drop on your conversation then tattle on you to the owner like a little kid. So watch what you say at this bar.
I love this restaurant. Consistent delicious food and great service. I really love the fact they have their own creamery on site making cheeses, yogurts etc. That's truly farm to fork! yum.
Can I give less than one star. By far the worse food we have ever had. Soggy, frozen and overcooked at the same time. Staff sits at the bar yelling and screaming. What a crap hole. I would rather eat my own belly button lint.
Great food and the view can't be beat in the Treasure Valley!! Beautiful view, friendly staff, and amazing location!!
