Sorry it took us so long to find this gem - our fault, not theirs. Food was delicious, Mary Jean's personal service made the experience.
Great atmosphere with excellent and delightful food.
Twice i have been to this restaurant and ordered there Pho. This soup is suppose to be accompanied with Basil. If You know your Pho, Then you should understand what a significance it is with the soup's flavor. It is advertised with it. After the second time ordering this soup from this establishment, and again being told sorry no more Basil after taking my money, i returned it and will not return. No other restaurant where i have ordered Pho soup has left Basil out, or run out of Basil. Again this is a key ingredient to the soups flavor.
Great food in the back. The tacos are killer.
it's not bad for Boise. have been there 3 times and the food is good. we go there about once a week.
A Very Great and Unique place love every meal I have had there and My wife and I have had several.
They are amazing! Anything is fabulous. It is consistantly delicious!
You can taste the love in every sandwich. George has a true passion for a perfect sandwich and turns regular sandwich making into a Chef's delight. Warning!.... If you eat the cookies and/or brownies you will be hooked for life. So eater beware.
Easy 5. Nothing but quality and freshness.
Excellent Food! Great Espresso Bar (Dawson Taylor Local Coffee Roasters) You have to try the Prosecutor Hamburger! Amazzzing. And the fries are incredible. My wife had the Turkeyberry, which was like thanksgiving on bread! Huge Onion Rings(Real Onions!) No shredded iceburg, Fresh avacado cut in front of you, fresh as you cab get!
I'll be back.
I don't get in there as often as I'd like but I do stop in for a beer when getting my oil change done. The soup and salad lunches are a great deal, I never was one much for sushi so I can't comment there. Just the other day I stopped in for a beer and as I walked in the owner asked "ready for a Bloody Mary"? Sounded good and it was, he makes a mean Bloody Mary and said he has a make your own Bloody Mary bar on the weekends. I'll be back soon.
Do yourself a favor and try the little restaurant in the back. So good and so authentic!
This WAS a fine place for a quick lunch when Superb Sushi had a small counter inside. I made the mistake of ordering sushi there recently, not realizing it was no longer Superb! And it sure wasn't superb--just like supermarket sushi, and none of that yummy side salad.
Their coffee drinks are just so-so, but they do have a nice selection on gelato.
I'd give it a "miss"!
Sadly I never got to eat there. The day that I walked in, around 11:10am, nobody came out to serve me. I just stood there at the counter for 5 minutes and then went next door and ate a nice lunch.
This was one of the worst most over priced lunches we have ever had. We ordered a sandwich and a salad and it took at least 25 minutes when were the only people there. The salad was basic lettuce, packaged pre-cooked chicken and bottled dressing. The sandwich was tiny, flavorless and the bread so stale it fell apart. I have had better food and service in the hospital. Lunch for two was $30!! A huge disapointment.
This place is a true diamond in the rough. Hands down one of the best restaurants in town with great Italian and American options. All of the pastas are to die for, and the Caesar pork tenderloin sandwich is truly food of the gods!
Best atmosphere in all of Bosie!
I have to say that the customer service a the Co-Op has been great recently. It was so bad that I hesitated strongly having anything to do with the place other than the occasional hard-to-find beer. But, I am once again a supporter and enjoy the experience. On a recent trip I had two employees drop everything they were doing to find the obscure spice I was tasked with bringing home.
Some of the best french bread in the city, good crunchy fresh veggies, great variety of meats and fillings for the sandwiches. I think they could put a little more meat in their sandwiches. Yes the price is good, sort of, but you aren't comparing apples to apples. Other sandwich places have bigger bread and more stuff on it.
Still, I'm only taking it down one star for that issue. A top notch place. I've been eating there since they opened their first store at the Fred Meyer on Orchard.
Also, that bread is under $1.50 a loaf. Take it home and just use it as fresh bread for dinner. I make a beef po-boy sandwich that is a lot like a french dip that is absolutely fantastic on this bread.
Some of the friendliest business owners that I have experienced. I love the people there. First time I went there they asked my name. Six weeks later when I walked back in she looked up from behind the counter, saw my face and within 2 seconds addressed me by name. The food sold me along with the attention to the customer.
There is a sandwich that I love, Maranated Chicken Sandwich. So simple but somehow executed better than most sandwiches anywhere. It's huge and less than $6.
Make it a stop when you are downtown Boise and you won't forget it in the same way they will not forget your name.
