Closed Saturdays. We go here often in spite of it being hit or miss. Usually good though.
Tried the District for the first time and loved! Excellent coffee, prices, atmosphere and friendly people! Best coffee shop in Boise!! Love everything about this place!
Went to this restaurant tonight to celebrate a friend's birthday. I must say this was absolutely the worst dining experience of my life!! Here is a summary of my experience there:
1) lousy, inconsiderate service. After waiting over an hour for our food, the waitress did not have the decency to apologize for the horrible service. She doesn't have a clue how to treat people and should not be a waitress!
2) We had to get our own drinks!
3) I ordered a chicken sandwich. I was given a steak sandwich with no explanation, no effort to make it right by bringing me what I ordered! The waitress is in the wrong job field! She has not clue how treat customers or admit her mistakes.
4) My steak sandwich was awful, too much grizzle in the meat and hard to chew. Again, I was supposed to be given what I ordered- a chicken sandwich!! But, she did not even say anything or make an effort to do the right thing!
5) Our food arrived about 1 hr and 25 minutes after our order was placed!
No more for me!
Burger n Brew treats us like family. The staff is fast and friendly, they ask about my elderly mother if she is unable to join us at the restaurant. The finger steaks and French dip are amazing. My favorite place to go for happy hour too.
Kendri Lengkeek is delusional. I have many friends who work in various restaurants and she ALWAYS complains and wants something for free from at least 2 other restaurants on state street that I know of. She is also a bold faced liar. Fancy Freeze is fabulous and I feel sorry for every person in customer service that has ever had to deal with her
Mediocre food high prices.
First of all, we waited for 30 minutes before they even took our order. Then, the waitress proceeded to drop half of our pizza on the table. Which I understand mistakes happen, but instead of letting us eat the fresh, non-dropped half or making us a new pizza altogether, she let the pizza sit for another 30 minutes and made only 4 new pieces. So we were served half ice cold pizza and half fresh pizza. They also only offered to give us a 50% discount and refused to go lower even though we were waiting for over an hour and were served cold pizza! On top of the unbelievably long wait, both the waitress and what I assumed to be the manager (not sure because no one was wearing name tags) were not nearly as apologetic as they should have been. They were both very rude and did not seem too concerned about providing adequate service. I think it's safe to say I will never be returning to Richie's!!!!
Very good sports pub!! The service is good, the football is even better, and the food was phenomenal! I really liked the owner and all of the servers. They were all so quick and all so helpful. The food is for everyone. I would recommend the Prime Time Sandwhich, absolute fav. There were lots of sports playing so I never got bored. I am a true beer fan and they have almost everything you can think of. I truly recommend the place and continue to still go there. Great place.
I wanted to like this place. I luv hole in the walls. That being said, this was one of the worst meals I have ever had. I didn't feel well for days afterward. Bummer.
I did not know we had a Brazilian steak house in Boise.
Our server was awesome! Went here for dinner with my girlfriend this last weekend and the food was awesome. The real joy though was how attentive and kind our server was. We had a great time. 5/5 would dine...again.
I love the vibe and decor of this little place. I just went in for my first time and tried breakfast which was delicious. Highly recommended I hope they do well and will do my best to contribute to their success
A traditional place to eat in Northwest Boise. The food is great and the service is always attentive and friendly.
Tried Bo-Ex today and purchased the gyro I have heard so much about. I was a little disappointed. The meat had a strange texture like it was a ground and processed patty rather than a traditional stack of thin sliced meat on a vertical spit roaster. The owners make you feel at home and the portion was great but I'm not sure it was worth the $7.95
Best tea and customer service! Love, love, love the atmosphere! Snake River is a must try!!!
I've had the AYCE lunch at Yoi Tomo's five or six times over the past five years, so my review is based on those experiences alone. Each of the sushi rolls that I've ordered have been delicious. The appetizers are pretty tasty as well; particularly the shrimp tempura.
Yes, there are more specialty rolls here than in some more traditional Japanese restaurants, but it was much better than IOU Sushi on Milwaukee street in Boise. If you're looking more for sashimi than the more westernized sushi rolls, you should probably look elsewhere. But if you like fried and other types of sushi rolls, Yoi Tomo's is the place to be.
The quality ingredients on these pies is amazing. This is the place we go to for a celebration. Thank you flying pie!
