This store has so much win! They are eclectic in what they carry and have the absolute best corset selection in town. Nowhere else have I discovered a place with styles that suit my different and sometimes exotic needs quite like them. And while they may not always have my size, they are always willing to order it for me! You gotta love a store with such great customer service.
Amazing Place! Make sure to check it out, you will pleasantly surprised by the treasures you will find!
Some of the girls that work at the store were making fun of some of the items that we brought in to sell to them when we were sitting about 4 feet away. Very rude and unprofessional. But they ended up buying quite a lot of what we brought in, so obviously our items were acceptable to bring there. We will never go there again. Nor will we recommend it to anyone we know.
Open Mon-Sat 10am-8pm
Closed on Sunday's
This is a pretty nice shop in boise idaho! Peggy is pretty cool!
Watch out for these guys however.
If is the store at Cole and Fairview, this store has come along way. Hurray for everyone who works at this store. Especially the lady who works at the self check-out. The customer service she gives is beyond. Thanks everyone!!!
been there once, clerk at the register reading a book, never even looked up. Walked in, walked around, and left with never a word. Won't go back, I am new to cigars and need some advice, will go somewhere where they understand service.
Great salon, very friendly owner!
i went there and it was dirty and erik spelled my tattoo wrong
My son Stan owns this shop so I am alittle impartial but I visited Boise summer of 2012, all the customers coming in gave me such awesome comments. They praised his customer service, his knowledge, his personality and even thanked me for having such a wonderful son. Which I totally agree and myself and Boise are blessed to have him. Go son (Go Raiders) of course I'm from California LOL
downtown is my favorite boise joint. even more so than hyde park's. i rate it a 4 only because in winter the place is cold. and drafty. the bowl of soul? ... sure. but drinking out of a bowl is not only weird, it's pretentiously trendy, not to mention silly looking. go for the mexican mocha instead. i've sampled every boise coffee that serves this, and downtown Java's is the best.
This review is mainly for the Meridian club. But It applies to the company as a whole.
Love the Group X class schedule and loving the new floor in the classroom. I like to meet up with my friends, take a class, then relax in the pool area. This club has everything I need and more. My only concern is getting the pool set at a certain temp. Some days its warm, other days it kinda cold. Not sure if it has to do with maintenance, but my joints just get stiff when its cold.
My granddaughter always ask if she can go with me or when I am going next. She has taken a liken to some of the daycare staff. Daycare is not free, it's about $2.50 per visit. I think they have a unlimited monthly option though. I just usually have my granddaughter a couple days out of the week. We also like to take advantage of family swim on the weekends.
Overall, I like this club. If you are new to living a healthy lifestyle, changes like this can be tough. Just make sure to surround yourself with positive people that'll show support. I know its beneficial to have workout buddies. It helps me to hold myself accountable. This group exercise also encourages me to see some friendly familiar faces on a daily basis.
I recommend this company to my friends and family. I've already gotten a couple of my friends to sign up. I got a couple of free months for the referrals. Contracts used to be for 24 months, but now they only do 12 months. Or you can pay in full, which is what I did. All in all, I'm a happy camper.
By far the nicest of all locations. I really enjoy the indoor track. There is also plenty of equipment for me to use. All the staff members have very positive attitudes! That always helps whenever I am in a grumpy mood. They also have plenty of Group X classes, and what makes it even better is all classes were included in my membership.
I'll be updating my reviews. But so far I've got nothing but good things to say about this company. I heard bad things about customer service issues, but haven't had the oppurtunity to experience that part of it. Maybe most of these negative comments are on a person to person basis.
Anywho, I felt inclined to share my opinon. Since there is so much negative things being said. I full disagree with them thus far.
Just recently joined! If you are worried about giving them your credit card and you are able to pay in full. Just pay in full, it comes out to be about $28 dollars a month. I just see a lot of negative reviews about billing issues. It seems to be mostly over broken contracts. Listen up people, there is gonna be hoops to jump in if you break a contract. Apparently some of you have never experienced signing a contract before. Honestly, I had a real good experiance with the fellow that signed me up. I also recieved a free training session when I joined. Which totally kicked my butt! No complaints so far, but I'll keep you guys posted.
Before I go to the gym, I look at myself in the mirror and tell myself how beautiful and in shape I am in. And after I walk through the door at the gym, I realize how still out of shape I am.
Thanks IAC!! =)
I like their steam room with eucalyptus aroma. Burns my lungs. Also, as tempting it is to pee while in the shower here, I don't. So I really, really hope everyone else has the same common courtesy to do likewise.
Salesmen: Friendly (don't care if they're crooks because if you agree to something, honor it)
Equipment: There's a lot and they're constantly cleaned and maintained
Lockers: Bring your own lock and they're a decent size
Noise: Thankfully not too much grunting or moaning, whereas other places you close your eyes and you feel like you're in the middle of some gay orgy.
I have had problems with Idaho Athletic Club over and over in the past three years.
This past spring, upon a review of my bank statements I found that for nearly three to four months the club had been taking out money and charging for five memberships (rather than the two for my household). Total, they took nearly five hundred dollars more than they were supposed to. They were super sneaky about it as well. After a nearly two week battle over phones and two hours with a toddler in the corporate office I was finally able to get the money for three of the imaginary contracts refunded to me and cancel my husband’s as well (it was up and he did not want to renew). Sure, I was refunded my money, but no way to get that time back. I did not get even a hint of an apology from the company at any level that this occurred.
Recently, I was noticing that payments were not being taken out on the date that they were scheduled to. Rather than the 15th of each month they have been from the 16th through the 27th. When I spoke with Nicole (the awesome passive aggressor that she is) at the corporate office, she snidely told me that the reason that the reason they are taking out not only my regular membership of $21.20 they are adding another $19.50 to their profit but hitting my bank account up as much as possible was due to ‘insufficient funds’ (side note: my bank shows no records on any statement that they attempted to take out my membership fee of $21.20 until they take out the 40.70 that Nicole states is from ‘insufficient funds’). Ultimately they not only get my monthly membership but an extra bonus to boot! Wonder who gets goodies from that kick back? This incident is it and I am done with this company. I called the oh so personable Nicole back at the corporate number and asked if she could mail me a copy of my contract and my account statement. I was told over and over by her that “you can go to the club or here to corporate to get it” I had to keep asking her why she could not mail it only to have her repeat the same statement over and over. Finally, she told me she “might be able” to mail it, but only the contract. I thanked her before hanging up in frustration this time. I then called the Meridian Club to speak with the manager (only so I could be certain that I was getting a copy of my contract mailed since Nicole did not give me definitive answer). When I spoke with Tony, the manager, I was told the same thing that Nicole told me but he was (at the beginning) willing to send my contract. By the end of the call however I was told I was not able to have it mailed or faxed because “how do we know it is you we are mailing it to? It’s like if your sister came in and asked to look at your account, we can’t do it because it is a liability to us”. When I asked if there was ANYONE beside Nicole to speak with at corporate I was told she was it and the only other person to speak about it with would be collections. Not surprisingly the call was disconnected at that time. Even more I wasn’t even close to shocked that when I attempted to call Tony back he was on another call and couldn’t take mine.
What sort of company has such low ethics they will not allow members to have their information sent to them through the mail to the mailing address on the account? I was told that I would have to pay a hundred plus dollar fee to cancel and be done with the crap-bag company. You think that after my whole ordeal with the overcharging last time they would go ahead and waive it. But hey, you never know what is going to happen with the (not so) great and (un)ethical company that is Idaho Athletic Club!
Overall, I am going to recommend that anyone looking to join a fitness club or gym in the Treasure Valley to go ahead and give your money and business to any other club or gym in the Treasure Valley over Idaho Athletic Club.
This place only lacks two things, baristas with some hustle and STUMPTOWN COFFEE. We can handle the sloth like baristas if you just get some stumptown beans!
One of the best shops in town for a full exhaust system. The have done all my cars for over 35 years and never a problem.
Gelato, hand made candy, latest and greatest, plus all the good old goodies you thought were something of the past
