Re: “Agape Coffeehouse

very pleased with their selection of roasted coffee bean, and enjoy stopping in for a cup.
this coffeeshop offers to deliver curbside with a pre-order phone call... however, I do wish they had a drive up window. the staff is friendly... the coffee and homemade treats are delicious. the decor inside is quirky but the patio outside needs a little attention. an attempt to conceal the view of the highway would make the world of difference to create an attractive & private more intimate setting. summertime music on friday nights is casual and entertaining. and open mike night is enjoyable as well... highly recommended that you stop by and see for yourself

Re: “Visual Arts Collective

Exceptional. Full of surprising twists and turns. Brilliant text. I'm still chuckling.

Re: “Chandlers Steakhouse

I'd like to thank Chandler's management for finding better music on Tuesday evenings. Now that Esteban "The Hairy Gargoyle" Anastasio has moved onto other opportunities, I and my friends can again enjoy The Saz and your sensational appetizers right after work on Tuesdays. Mike Rosenthal is fantastic and his music is much better suited to your establishment! Thanks again for the major upgrade in your Tuesday early eve music. I'm sure you'll be glad you made the change. Thanks again!!

Re: “Chandlers Steakhouse

Mientras Esteban Anastasio juega en Chandler , ya no voy a comer allí . Este tipo de música arruina el sabor de la comida.

Re: “Monkey Bizness

I was there when they had Monkeys and when I was trucking The stench was horrible and the Monkeys would throw their feces against the glass cage they were in. Lots of fights and drunkenness. Sounds like they have cleaned up their act quite a bit since then.

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

I recently attended the Snoop Dogg concert and we were so excited to see him. We showed up at 7 only to wait until well after 8 for the show to start. Then, this guy, who knows who he was came out and started trying to "act" funny... It was terrible. Secondly, the artists that came on before Snoop Dogg were worse than terrible and were basically just performing karaoke to other more popular artists. Then, once they were done we waited over an hour to see Snoop standing on concrete floors because there wasn't ANY seating. Finally, we decided that after an hour of waiting to see Snoop Dogg and the hour and half we had to watch the other poorly performing artists we decided to leave, it was by far the worst concert and biggest waste of 2.5 hours of my life that I will never get back. Not to mention the 75.00 I spent for the tickets that I also will never get back. I will not be back!

Re: “Riverside Hotel Sapphire Room

After a loose, loud, and noisy performance at the recent Sapphire Room Fiesta Collaboration, It was sadly announced Tambalka will be disbanding. But there is something to pick up our broken hearts. Esteban Anastasio and Ashley Rose Smith are starting a new duo they’re calling Cuck-A-Doodle and the Free Range Hen. We’re all looking forward to what they’ll bring to Boise.

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

Thinking twice about seeing a show here after reading the reviews. Nothing worse than slow bar & bad service. No show can support that annoyance, no matter how good the
Artist is...

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

First time at The Revolution--for Temerarios. Only complaint is the long wait time
between sets. Otherwise it's a great venue with quality sound, air flow and courteous staff. Sat in the balcony but spent time on the floor, too. Both very good. People could dance around the edges of the floor or relax upstairs. Pricey drinks.

This venue expands Boise's already lively music scene.

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

I have been there twice. First time was Brit Pink Floyd. Second was the PIXIES.. Had a good time on both (just because of the bands). Sound was decent in my opinion. I will have to agree on the professionalism.. IT SUCKED.. Stood in line for 45 min to get a beer.. Got to the front and saw why... ONLY 1 BARTENDER!! ARE YOU KIDDING?? What made it worse was he was pouring and taking money. The place was packed.. And everyone was paying with debit cards and only one machine.. to make it worse.. I think there needs some changes at that place.. I will stick to other venues.. Knitting Factory.. Way better venue..

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

this place sucks for all previously mentions reasons. The owners have Walmarted Concerts to offer absolutely NOTHING to the attendee except admission, and them they save on overhead and increase profits by assuming that the low life's that come don't deserve chairs, reserved seating, decent lighting and just let the crowd worm up to the stage while spilling their drinks on the way, sell triple the amount of VIP tickets so the late arrivals can pay triple and stand in front of the seated VIP's that got there on time. But they don't notice because they are in the office counting their MONEY.

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

Went to the Cheech & Chong show and wasted over $250 for 3 tickets. Got there early as we knew that seating was limited in the VIP section and wanted to get a good table. BTW we paid $30 extra per ticket for VIP. Got in line at the entrance at 6 PM for a 7 PM door opening time. Great, there were only 10 people in front of us. After standing in line for 55 minutes one of the employees came out and started letting people in. When he realized that there were VIP ticket holders standing in line, he decided to announce that the line we were in was not for VIP ticket holders. The VIP entrance was at the side of the building. When we got to the VIP line we wound up at the end of a line. It sure would have been nice is someone made the announcement earlier or the management of this poor excuse for a concert venue, put up a sign pointing to the VIP line.

When we finally got in, we were able to get the last 3 seats on the side of the stage. Only one problem, the sound system sucks and it only projects to the front of the stage. Subsequently, no one on the side of the stage could understand any spoke words during the show. We did not understand any of the skits PERIOD. If the management went up to the stage and announced that the place was on fire, we would have burned to death.

It was real nice having a private VIP bar. Only problem, the drinks are ridiculously expensive. $9 for a Crown and Coke? Give me a break!

If you plan on drinking in the VIP lounge, don't plan on having to relieve yourself. There is a private bathroom included in your extra $30 per ticket. Yes, 1 private unisex bathroom with a toilet bowl. Yes, ONE TOILET BOWL. You can expect to spend 15 to 20 minutes on line waiting to do what you gotta do. You can always go downstairs to the general admission section and fight your way through a standing crowd.

There were signs all over the VIP lounge telling of the food that was available to soak up some of the alcohol. Don't bother standing on line at the bar to get something to munch on, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE TOLD THAT FOOD IS ONLY AVAILABLE DOWNSTAIRS FOR THE FOLKS WHO CHOSE NOT TO SPEND $30 EXTRA FOR THE VIP LOUNGE.

More bad news. We have 2 tickets to see Trace Adkins at the Eagle Pavilion. We found out that due to the poor outside air quality, the show as moved to Revolution. Guess what? WE ARE NOT GOING BACK TO THAT DUMP!

This place should be shut down. The only way that is going to happen is if people DON'T BUY TICKETS FOR THE REVOLUTION CONCERT HALL AND EVENTS CENTER!!! the only event I would consider attending there is their CLOSING AFTER BANKRUPTCY

Re: “The New Frontier Club

LOTS of local music on Fridays (mostly metal), most shows have not cover charge, yay! The drinks are inexpensive and the crowd is very mixed and extremely friendly! LOVE the bartenders!
