Re: “Geiser Grand Hotel

I can not brag enough how great the folks are at the Geiser Grand Hotel. I have stayed in many many motels and hotels and none have matched, the service, accommodations, atmosphere and food like these folks do. The Geiser staff have gone far and beyond what I had expected and experienced in many years. My wife and I plan on staying with these folks many more times or just go for some of the greatest food I have had!!!! We can't wait to get back. Jim

Re: “Redfish Lake Lodge

Redfish Lake is a great place to camp, eat or just visit for a few hours. Boating there is great also. It is a very beautiful drive and blacktop the entire way. I highly recommend a drive there if you never went before. You can stay at a motel in Stanley or drive onto Sun Valley. It is a 400 mile trip from Boise - Lowman - Stanley - Sun Valley - across through Fairfield to Mountain Home and back to Boise. Stay at least one night and have a great time.

Re: “Boise Hotel and Conference Center

Did you know the Holiday Inn Airport has a SteakHouse? It is the hidden gem of Boise for steakhouses. The Castle Ranch Steakhouse is located inside the lobby. It features local Double R Ranch Beef. I had the 18oz bone in reibeye with freash veggies and chedder hash. Tis was I think the most tender steak I have had in boise. It was cooked to perfection and so much on the plate. Next time you are in the mood for steak give it a try. Located inside the Holiday Inn Boise Airport at 3300 Vista Ave, Boise ID 83705 at the freeway.

Re: “Redfish Lake Lodge

If you want a perfect place to see an outdoor concert and really relax, even the most uptight city slicker will find themselves melting into a beach chair or a blanket on the lawn to take in the unparalleled view and quality music. I've seen and heard many fine concerts at the Redfish Lodge over the years, and while they do get a steady diet of decent bands, every once in a while they bring in an amazing talent. I saw Bearfoot at their 80th anniversary bash this July 12 2009 and they were fantastic! Redfish Lake is one of the world's most beautiful places and the live music offered is a delight not to be missed! David Motion 2009
