What a great venue! My husband and I have been there many.. many ...MANY times and never have we been disappointed. We just celebrated my husband's 40th bday there with about 40+ friends and the (very nice) staff were awesome and cut the bar tab off almost to the dollar of where I wanted it stopped. Dell the owner is a peach and he was hands and quick to answer any questions I had for setting up the party.
I also recommend the Shepard's Pie....yummy!
I like their policy on happy hour. I think that I would love this bar.
Relaxing Bars in Singapore
Nice information, There is obviously a lot. Your points are very valuable and knowledgeable. Thanks for sharing this great blog with us.
The only place in the valley with $2.50 drinks. Mike's is also $2.50. Level pool table. Worth the drive from Nampa.
Since new owner Dan K. took over a few months ago (maybe closer to a year now) 10th Street Station has improved vastly. Higher-end liquors, better beers, and proper pint-sized pours! And say what you will about the smoking ban, this place desperately needed cleaner air. There aren't a lot of places that don't blare music all night, and although when it's crowded it can be loud inside, it's still a pleasant place to be most times.
The food is excellent here! Try it
Great Prices, Good Food, Great Patio, what more can you ask for.
When my wife and I want to go out for a casual relaxing afternoon the Lift comes to mind. Drinks are well priced, the food I've ordered has been good and service also has been very good.
It's not fancy but comfortable and my wife loves the shady patio (dog friendly), so does Pedro, our daughter's little dog.
I almost gave them 5 stars, went with 4, but they are one of our favorite places when we want to go to this sort of place!
I've only been to this venue one time, and that one time was AMAZING!! The Revolution is one of the biggest INSIDE venues I have ever been to. I loved the sound! Yes, I may only be 14 but I have been to more consorts than you would think. It would be nice to see a few tables and chairs but other than that I have no complaints. :)
I enjoyed a very nice meal with my family. The food was very good and the service was fast, welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere of restaurant was comfortable, visually interesting and clean. The staff was appropriately and professionally dressed, polite and attentive. Prices were reasonable for being a nicer dinning establishment. I'm looking forward to enjoying a meal here again. Thanks to everyone who took care of us.
First of all no such thing as a strip club in Idaho, lame laws from prude moralists. Been to all in Boise, like to chill here, play pool and have some drinks. Girls vary, sometimes very friendly, sometimes they sit by the fire, text and ignore everyone.
We love Pengillys but I do have to agree that there is at least one bartender that also upped my bill from the amount he said. One of the waitresses is poor, the one with the dark hair that dresses like a stripper, but Kelly is awesome. We like this place due to the old west feel. great music, no cover, and cheap drinks. Also it isn't just for the 20 somethings. Everyone goes to Pengillys, young and old and they have many different types of music. They do need a dance floor and I was disappointed when they expanded the bar and didn't put one in. It would also be better if you could see the band, rest of the bar from the newly expanded side.
Good food, good service. Recommend for a new experience in flavor.
The only Gentlemans club in Boise. I went around 4 pm and there was only one rand down looking dancer. I left came back around 9pm and was very surprised with the girls. They were all very nice girls. Some are very sad and run down looking. but the hot ones make up for the Ugly. If you want an ice cold beer or cheap drinks and a nice hot lady to talk to, this is the club. No nudity either but conversations make up for it.
Harry's has reopened with new owners/management and a makeover. (Spring 2012)
The happy hour specials shown above are no longer in effect. The food is still quite good, and there are various daily specials at happy hour. At least they still have "Well Wednesday"!
I did once hear the music get loud, and it was rap crap, but it was quickly toned down when regulars expressed displeasure.
It is now called Harry's Rendezvous. The TVs are independent of each other, so you will find what sport you want on at least one of them.
Look at what you wrote: "The group consists of nurses, technicians, engineers, machinist, dental professionals, business professionals, etc. staple members of our community. After talking to the manager he agreed to serve us but the wait staff acted like we weren't good enough for the place and basically let us stay long enough to make us feel really unwelcome"
You make a list of how qualified and educated your group was for their careers and you try to use those qualifications to show how the group was made up of stellar citizens and you wonder why you had a bad experience? Well, the way you wrote your review you sound like you are writing from a pillar looking down on common folk. It also reads like you are the type of person to find things wrong anywhere you go. Maybe read your comments again, out loud, to a few friends that are not from your "...staple members..." of our community and see if they think that your approach in your review came off as horrible.
My dining experiences there have been great. I have only dined on the sushi side and not the steak house area so I cannot comment on the other dishes. The speciallty rolls where all pretty good so far. Most that I have ordered have been on the large size so you should get full. Prices are on the higher side but not too bad. Sadly I have not been out there for awhile as I seem land-locked on the west side of town as of late.
Good food, good beer, good service and a reasonable price.
Do you like rare steak? I mean really rare, as described in the TR menu as "cool red center"? You can still have it your way at Texas Roadhouse.
I had a previous poor experience with the chain, but my wife had never been and wanted to try it. We went on a busy Saturday, and opted to sit in the bar, rather than wait. The service in the bar was spot on, friendly and attentive.
We had the "baby blossom" onion starter that was just right, not too big, and not too spicy. My wife enjoyed the roasted chicken. The mashed potatoes were bland, but typical chain style. The gravy could have come right out of a can.
My New York strip was as good a restaurant steak as I have had in years. I added the sauteed
mushroom option, which was a very good choice. The mushrooms and the saute juice complemented the rare beef perfectly. We shared my run of the mill Caesar salad. We are fussy about that salad because my wife has perfected a "prefect for us" version that is hard to beat. The steak fries were steaming hot, crispy, and delicious.
Prices are reasonable at Texas Roadhouse and you come away with a feeling of satisfaction that you have been well served.
We will be back soon.
I absolutely love his pizza and the lasagna is to die for! Awesome food and tremendous value!
I must say that Barbacoa is an excellent upscale restaurant. I'm sure it is as hip as Boise will get. Very modern LA type of place where the food and service is awesome!
I eat/drink here all the time, waitstaff is awesome
