Re: “Sage International School

Whoever wrote the 4/25 review is just plain wrong, and I sincerely question their motives in writing their negative review. My children have LOVED Sage, and my husband and I could not be happier with the education they are receiving. Both children showed OVERWHELMING improvement in their State tests scores and are significantly more engaged in the learning process in and out of the classroom. The staff is incredibly intuitive to the needs of the students.

With regard to bullying, my oldest child experienced a incident of bullying in the first month of school. The situation was dealt with swiftly and completely by teachers and administrators.

Re: “Sage International School

Sage International has been an excellent school for our family. They have a hardworking faculty and staff dedicated to building a world-class academic program. Our children love it and won't consider going back to other public schools with more resources. The earlier reviewer fails to note all of the students bring their lunches because there is no lunch program (so there are no school lunches for anyone, not just low income). Our family is getting an excellent "private school" education in this public charter because this school's focus is on building an outstanding tuition-free academic program that would otherwise be outside our family's financial reach. I am grateful my children have this opportunity.

Re: “The Open Space

I went last weekend and had a great time. The food was fabulous with great service! I had so much fun dancing and jamming to the great music. I can't wait to go to the magic show this weekend. I am so glad we finely have a place here in the Boise area that has it ALL! I am going to tell everyone I know!

Re: “Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial

Simply stunning - moving, educational, pleasant, quiet and a fine place to reflect - the three women who conceived the idea and saw it through are truly admirable people. If you go to Boise and miss this you can't say you've been to Boise

Re: “Boise City Marketplace

I visited Boise City Marketplace three times during the past week. It looks like the new "flea-market" format has real potential; just as soon as the rest of Boise discovers it! Meanwhile, there is a lot of neat stuff at very good prices there. I'm thinking of renting one of the booths myself, and really like the fact that they don't charge a percentage of sales like so many other similar venues do. My only complaint has concerned the fact that people can't find the place, but I e-mailed the owner and she is now adding a Google map and a reference to the Hillcrest Shopping Center to the web pages for her business. --SeanInBoise

Re: “Eclectic Endeavors

Just heard that Brad Nelson-Sonic Warrior (from the old Nada Brahma) will be playing on Saturday from 3-5. Also Aaron from Nada Brahma is one of the partners of Eclectic Endeavors. Maybe he will sing to! Wouldn't that be a treat..
