Re: “Golden Star

Well I have a lot of years with the people that cook in the golden star. My mother used to work for release Golden Dragon at 9th and Main for about 15 years. Her name was Emma Louie and Henry and all of them down there were amazing Cooks I learn to eat with chopsticks and I loved egg foo young we had it often. Daily Chinese restaurant that I will go to in Boise is the golden star and their food is absolutely awesome. Try your number to and if you like egg foo young instead of chow mein do a reversal and enjoy will have a little gravy with it too.. he will find the whole dinner is an amazing good dinner.

Re: “Awakenings Coffee House

They serve locally roasted coffee that is less than a week old! Amazing espresso, pastries, and cool vibe. Make sure and try the cold brew... best in town!

Re: “Agape Coffeehouse

very pleased with their selection of roasted coffee bean, and enjoy stopping in for a cup.
this coffeeshop offers to deliver curbside with a pre-order phone call... however, I do wish they had a drive up window. the staff is friendly... the coffee and homemade treats are delicious. the decor inside is quirky but the patio outside needs a little attention. an attempt to conceal the view of the highway would make the world of difference to create an attractive & private more intimate setting. summertime music on friday nights is casual and entertaining. and open mike night is enjoyable as well... highly recommended that you stop by and see for yourself

Re: “Chandlers Steakhouse

I'd like to thank Chandler's management for finding better music on Tuesday evenings. Now that Esteban "The Hairy Gargoyle" Anastasio has moved onto other opportunities, I and my friends can again enjoy The Saz and your sensational appetizers right after work on Tuesdays. Mike Rosenthal is fantastic and his music is much better suited to your establishment! Thanks again for the major upgrade in your Tuesday early eve music. I'm sure you'll be glad you made the change. Thanks again!!

Excellent fresh fish, menu choices, staff. Fantastic remodel allows for natural light, soft colors. My first choice when wanting good, authentic sushi!

Re: “Spice Indian Cuisine

I've traveled around the world. This is authentic Indian. The buffet is mild for Idaho taste buds. Delicious! Super great deal!

Re: “Berryhill/ BACON

What a wide swing in entertainment: from the highs of Sandy and Curt to the horrible lows of Tamblacka. Come on, John! Screen the music better. The quality of your food deserves it. I'll keep coming in for the great burgers; making sure the BlackBalka Band won't be there to ruin the flavor. Food Good, Band Bad.

Re: “The Creperie Cafe

You simply cannot make or buy a better crepe' than at this restaurant. The wonderful smell of the Meditaranian (spelling) is out of this world. Every flavor that you can imagine plus photography on the wall that you can buy. The owner is the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. I bought a framed picture of a dandilion so that I could have a wish for the rest of my life. Also, their Italian sodas are HUGE and tons of whipped cream. Everyone should eat here at least once....or twice....or 100 times! Such a variety that you could go 30 times and never have the same thing twice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner crepes and the consistency of the crepe' itself is unbelievable.. So big that I couldn't even finish mine, but it made for great leftovers later that day!

Re: “Ben's Crow Inn

This is my wife and I's Valentine dinner location for the last 23 years. Two 3 1/2 lbs of Steamer Clams with 1/2 and 1/2 salad and fries. Clams are the best in the valley. Sorry to see them closing. Heading that way for clams today (wife's birthday).

Re: “The Galley

Kevin, the manager is all customer service, and The Galley reflects that. Between Pauline, the floor manager, and Dennis, the chef, you have a great environment, great service, and top-notch food.
Dennis comes from 23 years cooking in Las Vegas for one of the Top Casino franchises, and it shows in the food quality - high quality for Idaho affordable prices.
