OK so "seekandfind" has a issue with Ms Archbolds review! His or her comments are plain idiotic!
Now on to a review of Lucky Fins: To start with we've been there many times (since they first opened in Meridian), with the just the two of us and with family & friends. We all have been very happy with out service and dishes we've ordered. I can't recall all the different items I've ordered but they've ranged from a burger (Cabo Burger that I didn't see on the menu last time) to more of and entree dish. Several times we've ordered from the "chalkboard", and always have been pleased with our meals. The in laws who normally don't go to this type of restaurant were very please and when asked were my mother-in-law wanted to go for her birthday; Lucky Fins was her choice! For me personally the worst meal I've there was still quite good.
As far as prices, I think for what you get they are very reasonable as are the dink prices that are on par with this type of establishment.
We were lucky enough to be invited to the Boise Location pre-opening party which was fun, thank you Derek for inviting us! I had the Halibut Florentine and can't wait to go back, I'll get this item again.
Great time for me last night!!! Everyone was just there to have fun, ya know? Will definately be back!!
This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your time!! Friendly people, karaoke and as always good entertaining stories.
best food and cocktail
Love this place!

Thanks for showing up such fabulous information. I like this post, keep writing and give informative post...!
They are amazing! Anything is fabulous. It is consistantly delicious!
Went there for the 1st time last Thursday and we were blown away with the service, the food and the entertainment. We were amazed at the free raffles, Trivia, and comradery amongst the patrons. We loved that it was family friendly and adults only after 9. HIGHLY recommended.
I've been there many times now, by myself, with local friends & relatives, out of town friends and my wife. I've always have had a really good experience, good service great breakfasts and coffee. All for a reasonable price.
What more can you ask for.
Weekends they are VERY busy so come early or have patients.
IF you have actually ever been to The Drink you would know there is nothing Vegas about it. It is a sports bar, tiki bar with amazing outside floating docks and a venue like no other offered in Idaho. The food has been reviewed by top food critics and we have had amazing reviews. Live bands, karaoke, house music, and service above all......sounds like you need to check this out for yourself and for others please don't post if you have never been there. Thank you
Located at 1674 W. Hill Rd. in the Hillside Studios building. Beautiful studio in Boise's North End. Excellent teachers. Lots of all level classes. Great prices. Free front door parking. Very friendly and helpful.
Ram Meridian? If you're looking for couture elegance, stuck up people and a dinner menu starting at around 24 bucks... don't go. But if you like a casual atmosphere, award winning 22 ounce craft beers, tasty and affordable food that begins around 8 to 10 bucks?...go. Comfy booths in the bar area, big screen TV and multiple smaller TV's to catch your sporting event plus on-screen trivia keeps things from ever getting quietly uncomfortable. Always a good time.
this place is the BEST in Boise !!!!
They also have the best martini and best bartender in town. The Lemon Basil Maritni, hand crafted by their bartender Major.
Best bbq ever!
My family has had great food, treats and service at Fanci Freez a dozen times now. Kendri, you sound kinda nuts.
After attending another concert at the Revolution I was very satisfied. It seems that the Bone thugs show on Dec 1, 2012 was a bad night for the concert house. When I went to Snoop Lion, the sound was thundering, the lights were spot on and the stage changes were much more professionally done. They addressed my concerns and I was very satisfied. I am attending the West Coast Fest on the tenth and look forward to it.
Totally love this bar. A true Idaho dive bar: no windows, lukewarm drinks, crusty regulars, lots of handshakes and pats on the back, and karaoke every night almost exclusively country music (except for the occasional killer rendition of "Love Shack" from a visiting Scottish gal named Joan and her Boise BFF Kelly).
P.S. This is a must-visit dive bar. Don't listen to the bar snobs who posted above here - what are they doing at a dive bar anyway if they don't like black velvet nudes??? ;) They need to stick to Hyde Park with the other spoiled brats and grandma-bicycle hemp-necklace hippies.
Amazing work for a reasonable price. You won't find any flash here. Only the best.
