I live in Idaho and im sick after watching PBS Show on animal cruelty. I raised cows as a kid and cows DO have feelings. These people needed to be in prison! Not for days but years. Then they pass a law making it illegal to video the abuse. Fuckin shameful Idaho! I hate government ruining our lives.
Saw the film in Utah - it's phenomenal. So much better than anything I expected and I highly recommend it.
Idaho is 1 of 13 states that have no provision in law to use persons under the age of 21 to do these stings.
It is extortion, using an agency of government, acting under authority of law, without having any authority under the law to conduct such stings. This qualifies under US. Title 18 as racketeering under color of law.
Furthermore a class action suit would be suitable in that this has been going on unchallenged for many years now, and effecting many thousands of business owners and their duped employee's.
I'm currently involved in the defense of such a sting and they are eager to dismiss the case with the stipulation we pay the $300 bond. I won't accept their offer.
I guess they figured out it was for the females to have a better grip when they got their boyfriends with a strap on
It sounds like its going to be like Community Center's of olden times.
Noach Flug, the former president of the International Auschwitz Committee died 11 Aug 2011. If you like to read how people remember this eminent man - look at: http://www.jetztzeit-verlag.de/
YEAH! Let's make it happen.
WTF Nothing.... how ridiculous. Kayaks launch on free-flowing rivers all the time. Or do you just live in your mother's basement?
We were lied to when they put in most of these damn dams. They said that the salmon runs would not be affected.
Zillions of taxpayer and utility payer dollars have gone into hatcheries, restocking and tanker trucking these fish in an attempt to "save" them. It's a travesty.
The damn damns need to go.
If the dam wasn't there, they could not of launch their kayaks.
that would be very nice if they can do it. i am a former member of armed services. i live in idaho state veterans home in boise. build it if you can. thank you
as always, interesting...
Hopefully it becomes an "one door closes another open" story.. Good luck to a great and greatly needed organization.
When some person or entity is "notorious", it is (by definition) so well known and flagrant about something that nobody disputes whatever characterization is made...such as a notorious criminal gang that operates in a specific neighborhood.
To describe the Birch Society as "notoriously anti-Catholic" is absurd in three respects:
1. Nobody except this author thinks the JBS is "anti-Catholic"
2. Approximately 40% of JBS membership and 2/3 of its original office staff in Belmont MA (its HQ) was Catholic and two Catholic priests served on the JBS National Council (the governing body of the JBS).
3. The only official government investigation ever conducted into the JBS was a 2-year investigation by the California Senate Factfinding Subcommittee on Un-American Activities, This Subcommittee was controlled by Democrats who were allied with the then-Governor of California (Edmund G. "Pat" Brown, a Catholic). Significantly, they never found any anti-Catholic bias within the Birch Society -- even though several Catholics were members of that Subcommittee.
Consequently, we must conclude that Bill Cope is a notoriously ignorant and bigoted individual.
I wish Mr. Simplot had bestowed upon Boise something more vital and lasting than an oddly designed building where cooking classes and fingerpainting are taught. His millions might have helped endow a proper public transit system for this community, or a decent baseball stadium that might have helped revitalize downtown and given the youth of the community a center for athletics. He might have helped connect Boise to the West Coast by high speed rail line or underwritten much-needed historic preservation. Instead, we got a modernist structure and a tractor museum where -- years after ground was first broken -- no one can still seem to figure out what it really is.
And I'm sorry, the very fact that there are college ratings of who is hottess is appalling. I'm sure Jesus would be so proud.
Clearly you are the moron here, considering the title of this article clearly says BYU-Idaho. As in BYU-I in Rexburg, Idaho.
Also, it is clear that his grammar, spelling, and correct use of punctuation is far superior than your own. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
I LIVE IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA WISH THERE WAS SOME TYPE OF THIS PROGRAM UP HERE. THANKS FOR THE DREAM. A. BAZEMORE
