Re: “Photos: Compare the Crowds at D.C. Women's March and Trump's Inauguration

The images are Date Stamped but not time stamped. Seriously?
Why cannot people by more transparent with their partisanship?

"The Trump administration incorrectly told reporters on Saturday that 1.5 million attended the inauguration" - since there is no count, how is it incorrect?

Re: “Video: Teton County Sheriff Investigating Altercation at Driggs Women's March

Womens March = Womens march for communism. Revolutionary Communist Party, Communist Party USA, Workers World Party, Democratic Socialist of America,
Moveon, org = George Soros and may more, all parties affiliated partners with Women's March which is stated on their web sight. So You Pathetic little Marxist Commis should be doing the goose-step in the streets........

Re: “From the Far Margins

I am not sure what Country you were raised in but I do not recognize the place you describe in this opinion piece. If you want a woman President then you need to run someone better than Hillary Clinton.
I have been around since the beginning of this Women's Movement and have never experienced the things you paint as everyday facts. My daughters were taught by example that the world was open to them. They also watched a Father who worked very hard to give them many of those opportunities.
Do you ever give much thought to the women living in Iran or Saudi Arabia? Until Trump's administration requires me to wear a black sheet over my head and stone me to death for Adultery I will take my chances with the USA.

Re: “Video: Teton County Sheriff Investigating Altercation at Driggs Women's March

This has nothing to do with Womens Rights. Womens Rights has become a joke because of their hidden polices. They have turned womens groups away, that don't agree with their agenda. This is a democratic female march, to whine about Hillary losing.
This movement has been co-opted by the George Soros and his ilk, they have encourage the unification of other groups, like PETA, PINK, BLM, OWS, La Raza and other anarchists... The master plan is to take on Trump and WTP (his supporters). Expect chaos and anarchy on a growing scale from these people. They are blocking the streets and it is just a matter of time before they will be throwing bricks through windows, destroying and looting properties...

Re: “Video: Teton County Sheriff Investigating Altercation at Driggs Women's March

"Women's March protester blocked a Driggs city street, resulting in a fight" So the Protesters Broke the law and think they can get away with it. The protesters turned the protest into a Riot by this action...... he should have just driven over them.

Re: “Idaho Rep. Heather Scott: 'My Apology Will Never Be Good Enough'

She needs to be removed or given time off to get her head in the game. Obviously she's unfit for office at this time. Too bad a psychological eval. can't be ordered. That and her access to social media should be curtailed until she can show some restraint.

Re: “Meet the New Boss, Not Same as the Old Boss

It's refreshing to have a change of commander-in-chief, when your little "counterculture" paper can migrate from Party Organ (at least with regards to Chairman Obama) back to yapping Chihuahua of the Loyal Opposition. Too bad so many other "journalists" have already done the "Trump is Hitler" thing. Pretty hard to be creative in a new and fresh way.

Hopefully your mom is still upright and taking nourishment, Zach.

Why don't we give Trump a day or two, or maybe a week, to see what develops? I'm guessing he won't be showing up on the upper porch at the White House, with American-Flag red armband and a megaphone.

If, by April 15th they are teaching Army recruits how to goose-step, I'll be right there saying "Well, Zach warned us..." (Unless Der Trump has shut down the Opposition Press by then.) Do you think he'll prefer "Heil Trump" or "Heil Donald"?

Re: “Women's March on Idaho

Will PRO-LIFE women be welcomed at the local anti-divisiveness march? Evidently they were un-invited at the big Saturday hoo-hah in D.C.

Re: “Welcome to the 19th Century

Zach, you should advise Mom to take a valium and relax. The sun will come up on January 21. Life WILL go on. Far more of her fellow Idahoans are breathing a huge sigh of relief as Dear Leader Obama steps away (if he's really able to - I'm afraid in his mind, he's Dear Leader for Life). We survived it!!

Trump wasn't my first choice, but I'm happy to give him a chance. Like Obama before him, I sincerely hope he's a very successful president! (As measured by the true State of the Union.) And I'm sure happy we're not swearing in a President Hillary this week! She's so crooked that Huma needs to help her screw on those pant-suits!!! (God bless Dr. Thompson!)

Re: “Avalanche of Snow Removal Criticism

Perhaps Mayor Bieter is unfamiliar with the ACHD organization. The in-charge people (commissioners) are voted into office - just like Boise's mayor! - and likewise can be voted out.

THIS lifelong Boise resident feels Bieter is trying to "opportunize" on a once-every-30-years -type weather event, in his relentless quest for power and influence. Based on his and the City Council's track record, I'm guessing the city could probably assume the duties of the ACHD... and figure out a way to do it more expensively! (Only a fool would maintain a fleet of equipment for snow removal at this year's level. Not all of Boise's taxpayers are rich north- and east-enders, Mr. Mayor!!)

Re: “Otter Still Waiting for Trump's Call

George: Ag is nowhere near 20% of Idaho's economy. That is a commonly repeated myth that is easily debunked by visiting the BEA website. Agriculture, forestry, fishing, farming accounted for $3.508 bb in GDP out of Idaho's total $65.549 bb in total GDP in 2005.

Re: “Eric John Kaiser, Jan. 21, Vine Wine Shop

Interesting connection. We have a short-term stay apartment in the North End of Boise that we refer to as "Ville des Arbres" -- so this story about a Paris-born chanteur performing in "La Ville des Arbres" popped up in a "Google Alert" we have set for online references to our apartment. Small world!

Re: “More Heather Scott Melodrama at Idaho Statehouse: Five GOP Legislators Ask to Be Removed From Committees

For as long as most of us can remember, the GOP has had a "super majority" in the Legislature, and pretty much calls the shots. I believe at its root, the local Legislative Soap Opera is a microcosm of the power struggle in the GOP, between the "establishment" group and the "Neo-Republicans."

I suspect that the Bigwigs will beat those rebels into submission, and get back to their traditional Establishment GOP Legislatin' (and ignoring the Democrat minority), in fairly short order.
