its all a joke, has insurance and was dropped. tryed to go back and get insurance with same companie, my plane had trippled in payment and got less of anything, wtf is that, i will pay the fine, its cheaper than health insurance.-
What say you folks do an article on the Un-Affordable Care Act or the Obama(Doesn't)Care Act?
This thing is a scam from top to bottom and deserves some hard-hitting journalism.
So how about it?
There's plenty of facts out there and a lot of skeptical people out there as well.
A friend who is an technical operator for Micron several years ago, had their entire fab fired. On their final paycheck Micron had a business card for a temp agency, 3/4's of them went there and found out that Micron had sent their files over and was willing to rehire every one from the fab, some even got a small pay raise. Unfortunately they lost they health insurance, 401k, stock options, and bonuses, and Micron saved money by only having to pay salaries not benefits. Local Greed is wonderful!
This is yet another sign of the times.
Temp agencies are right there along side the payday loan shops as fellow bottom feeders, parasitizing those on hard times, making their times even worse.
And companies like Bacardi are not unusual in their own parasitic use of workers.
In the current economy many employers are taking increasing advantage of even their full time employees.
The goal more and more seems to be to push the envelope on how much abuse employees will take.
It just goes to prove that without some sort of government regulation and legal consequences it isn't long before many companies will morph the work environment back to the slave like state of early industrialization.
We're clearly headed that way when you look at all the companies that have moved their factories to China, India and other third world countries, to take advantage of low wage , abused workers with zero rights.
Free market capitalism is a wonderful thing to behold isn't it?
As long as you're at the top of the heap of abusers and parasites.
Greed is Good and don't forget it!
When you look at the number of deluded people in the population, this small percentage is easily predictable.
"Even though we used technology to try to enhance the candour of respondents, we still see responses that are unrealistic," she said.
Ah technology, the be all and end all of legitamized science.
How about spending research dollars to find out something that's not so obvious?
Delusion is rampant in the culture.
To make that clear: Just ask people if they believe there's an economic recovery occurring.
The folks running these rackets are the bottom feeders of the parasitic financial industry.
These payday, auto-title and installment loan traps have been spreading throughout the U.S. like a cancer, praying on the increasing number of poor in the Land of the Free (Enterprise).
The growth of this racket is just one more sign of the actual depressed economy, despite the fantasies pumped out by the bank/corporate controlled Main Scam Media.
Another sign that feudalism is returning with a vengeance to Slavelandia.
Greed is Good and don't forget it!
"the American public deserved a chance to see these issues determined by open courts"
Open Courts? He's got to be kidding.
Has Snowden really been paying attention?
The controllers have their claws into the Judicial system, just as they do every other system of control.
The Un-Patriot-ic Act virtually eliminated the 4th along with the 1st.
Judge, this isn't about trying to find terrorists.
It's about terrorizing the public.
The name of the game is control.
It looks like this judge needs to be reminded who he actually works for and it ain't the citizens of Slavelandia.
And if that's true it will mean the Patriot Act (which sliced and diced the 4th Amendment) will be unconstitutional as well.
Finally a step in the right direction to protecting civil liberties! For too long, we’ve been allowing the coming of an age where the civil liberties our forefathers fought so hard for are being eroded by the day. Freedom of Press, Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly are mere ghostly images of their original intent. We’ve woken up to an Orwellian Society of Fear where anyone is at the mercy of being labeled a terrorist for standing up for rights we took for granted just over a decade ago. Read about how we’re waging war against ourselves at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/09…
This is cute, but a huge number of Americans consuming unhealthy diets do so because they live in food deserts where produce and unprocessed staples are either unavailable or a damn sight more than $1.50 extra per day.
This is just a continuation of the same old con being applied to younger people.
This scam includes the triumvirate of the government, the 'higher' education industry and banking loan sharks.
And the game is 'Get 'em in debt and you Own 'em for life'.
The goal here is to get young people in debt as early as possible to get them use to being saddled with time payments and thus trapped in wage slavery.
The government/banking perpetrators of this scam fully realize that the heavy debt load students come out of college with, insures that they'll need to take on more debt just to cover basic living expenses as well as to become good consumers.
This means more interest profit over additional years to extract from the debt holder.
Greed does the rest:
As the more prestigious colleges raise their tuition fees, all of the colleges lower on the prestige scale raise their fees.
The students going through the system want to come out of college with the best possible earning potential, so they take on the exorbitant debt.
And Voila' they're literally saddled with these huge debts, many with little or no current prospect of paying them off.
With the economy still actually in depression, more and more graduates are understandably delinquent with their payments.
This debt bubble is just one more headed for a crash.

I had no luck either with the new and improved Healthcare.gov site.
I am an uninsured laid off engineer with a household of five. I could not afford COBRA insurance and I am very nervous due to lack of Health Insurance for the family which includes a child who requires frequent surgeries. I cannot wait for Jan 1 when hopefully I can purchase reasonable price Health Insurance. Since mid October, I have spent over 20 hours on the Healtcare.gov site trying to complete my application and enrollment. First my application had duplicate family members, then it was locked, then I could not even login. I had to start a new application which got locked as well. I decided to be patient and wait for December 1.
On December 1, I was able to unlock my application by resetting my password. But now I cannot submit it. When I click on a Save and Continue and then a Green "Confirm" button, I get "Please Wait" message with a green revolving circle that would stay on my screen for hours until system will automatically log me out. I have tried this step over 20 times without any luck so far. Chat and phone support simply asked me to keep trying. Phone support person recommended 10 AM ET when traffic is low but for me even that time was no different.
This is very frustrating and I am extremely disappointed at the new and improved site.
'Capitalism Unhinged' is a good way to put it.
This annual feeding frenzy leaves no doubt that Capitalism has achieved a total escape from Pandora's Box.
This is one offspring that didn't deserve the right to life.
'Police shot an alleged shoplifter in Chicago'
Well here's yet one more glaring sign of the times.
'a shoplifter shot a shopper in Las Vegas'
Now this is a big surprise in a city where the sleaze-bags and crooks outnumber the rest of the citizens.
50 million people on food stamps and the 'biggest shopping day in the United States' is a day when 'shoppers [are] fighting over electronics' like frenzied sharks fighting for a chunk of meat.
'Many major chains decided to let shoppers in by Thursday evening, meaning that retail workers would miss time with their families.'
Now here's another surprise, at least in Idaho, given that the workers live in a 'Right to Work (for less)' state.
Boardroom Talk: "Ha, Ha, Ha...Can you believe these employees think they can choose their own wages and work hours? This isn't a democracy!! We own 'em!
Gunshots ring, are ya listenin
In the lane, knives are glistenin
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight

Fifteen Questions About HealthCare.scam's Future :

There are many more questions, but this is a good start.
If anything, these two corporations need each other to perpetually re-enforce the marketing wizardry that maintains the devout religious obsession with the acquisition and use of their conspicuous consumer products.
Apple clearly still holds claim to the Holy Grail in this reach for ecstatic fulfillment.
Toss FacelessBook into the mix and you've got the ingredients for the current technologically driven decent into the hard-edged, cold, soulless world we are watching unfold before our eyes.
The TPP has been the "cornerstone of the Obama Administration's economic policy in the Asia Pacific," and a press release by the White House stated that the 12 participating countries view the proposed agreement "as a model for future trade agreements and a promising pathway to our APEC goal of building a Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific."
Now wouldn't Orwell be proud of the Newspeak used by this group of co-conspiritors?
This gem of a deal is a Multi-Country Monopoly Area described as a Free Trade Area.
If this particular brand of hypocrisy sounds familiar, it's because it's of the same ilk as the NAFTA and GATT monopoly agreements, which paved the way for this latest corporate/government heist.
In Greed We Trust
It's the President's job to pick the people, and the Senate's job to confirm them if they are qualified. The people he chose are qualified, so the Senate should confirm them. Just under HALF OF ALL FILIBUSTER IN THE HISTORY OF CONGRESS occurred under the current president and he’s only 1 year into his second term. Since January 2009 Republicans have been abusing the rule in an attempt to make Obama a one-term President - and they failed. He's already a two-termer, so they are just being stupid now.
The people voted for him twice because they want him to do the job.
Republicans should get used to being the minority party, and they should stop pouting while sitting on the frisbee when everyone else wants to play.
Amazing. Those of us with no kids still have to pay for pediatric dental insurance AND maternity coverage, even men pay for this too! I was an Obamacare supporter until I realized the above AND the fact that the reduced rate if you income is lower means that the taxpayers are footing the difference. A LOT of people are doing this to keep their premium within a rational limit. My insurance policy was cancelled, a lesser policy that tripled my deductible out of pocket and mandatory kid's dental (I have no kids) and do not need maternity, makes my premium go up by more than 30%.
Wait! This is how the rest of the country gets healthcare. I lose because I am self employed and I lose because others are gaining. Keep me down so it looks like others are doing better.
Amazing that they have taken in the shorts but still keep drinking the cool-aid.
