The best opening in Trader Joe's history was the Spokane store in 2011. They are considering a second Spokane store plus one in Coeur d'Alene. I sure hope Boise is on their list too.
So Mr Heart are you a christian or just one of them R O L so called Christians who thinks they know what the Bible says, here is a lesson for you,Please read and read carefully
Son, defraud not the poor of alms, and turn not away your eyes from the poor. Eccius. 4:1 Douay Rheims version, NAB.
Bow down thy ear cheerfully to the poor, and pay what you owe, and answer peaceable words with mildness. Eccius. 4:8.
Do not forget to do good and to impart; for by such sacrifices God's favor is obtained. Heb. 13: 16.
By charity serve one another. Gal.5:13.
He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he that sows in blessings shall also reap in blessings. 2Cor. 9:6.
"Give alms from your possessions. Do not turn your face away from any of the poor, and God's face will not be turned away from you.
Son, give alms in proportion to what you own. If you have great wealth, give alms out of your abundance; if you have but little, distribute even some of that. But do not hesitate to give alms; you will be storing up a goodly treasure for yourself against the day of adversity.
Almsgiving frees one from death, and keeps one from going into the dark abode.
Alms are a worthy offering in the sight of the Most High for all who give them." Tob. 4:7-11 NAB.
Amen I say to you, this poor widow has cast in more than all they who have cast into the treasury. For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want cast in all she had, even her whole living. Mark 12:43.
Eat thy bread with the hungry and the needy, and with your garments cover the naked. Tab. 4:17. NAB.
When you do an almsdeed, sound not a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and In the streets, that they may be honored by men. Amen I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you [give] alms, let not your left hand know what your right hand [is doing], that your alms may be In secret; and thy Father, who sees in secret, will repay you. Mat. 6:2-4.
Every one give as he has determined in his heart, let him give not with sadness or of necessity [compulsion]: for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Cor. 9:7.
"My child, do not mix reproach with your good deeds, or spoil your gift by harsh words. Does not the dew give relief from the scorching heat? So a word is better than a gift. Indeed, does not a word surpass a good gift? Both are to be found in a gracious person." Sirac 18:15-18. NRSV. Compare the NAB
Isn't it cute how the legislature just ignores this little scam? Gotta love those clowns! One could get the impression that money rules over all other issues.
Hosting classes this far away from campus puts an undue burden on students and faculty alike. Commuting to campus, and parking, are difficult tasks already. It might save some money for the college in the short term, but their entire logistical and support apparatus would have to make the daily commute also, so there goes that savings. The University currently owns several blocks south of University drive that currently only house a few scattered offices, some modular classrooms, and a host of empty houses. Why buy land elsewhere?
Keep up the good work guys!
Originally the property was suppost to be home to Captiol Plaza. A 14 story office complex. Check out www.rafnah.com for info.
Completely pointless waste of valuable land. Downtown Boise would get a real shot in the arm by having some density in that location.
They would not build such a thing in downtown Portland, for instance.
"You might think that such a valuable piece of land a higher use building would
be built. Might have been multi storied."
This is Idaho where stupid planners like to talk about trains that runs a down town path and to BSU. BSU to downtown = 15 minute walk. Walk from 4th street in Boise to 14th street in Boise = 15 (including waiting for crosswalk lights). That is stupid too.
You are right in that it should be a multiple story, high density construction for sure.
Nah, 90% of all In-n-Out's are built next to the interstate freeway... and out in the 'burbs... It'll probably be out in Meridian, Idaho's capital of fast food.
Does anyone else think that such a prime piece of downtown real estate would be better suited with a higher density project? This is a bit disappointing.
In-n-out burger. Calling it now.
You might think that such a valuable piece of land a higher use building would
be built. Might have been multi storied.
Bob Heart does not know what he is talking about when it comes to panhandlers and needs to change his last name to Heartless, there are some help for the homeless in Boise, and if he thinks there is lots of resources for the homeless in Boise he needs to think again, some of these people need things other than drugs and alcohol that these institutions don't provide them and when they do they want you to join there cult and or there programs some of these people don't believe in there god the way they do and want nothing to do with there programs, and they have been kicked out of hese places because they don't want to join there fraternal order I know because I have been through this myself, I am a victim of there wrath, all the best clothing and food goes to the programmers and the shitty stuff goes to the rest of the homeless my GOD doesn't do this to his children but try's to give equally to all Jayne Sorrels and Bill Roscoe are panhandlers as well so DO NOT GIVE TO THEM either if you are against panhandlers, look at the way they live check out there homes and see where your money is going, damn sure isn't going to the homeless. GIVE TO THE PANHANDLERS they need it the most. you may contact me on this matter if you want to know more I am not scared of them and will tell the truth about what is going on down there too, all of it is fact not fiction as they will tell you, I have experienced this first hand.
Personally, our taxes have been lower under Obama than Bush, and we were unaffected by Bush's tax cuts, so the idea that their expiration would raise my taxes doesn't make any real sense.
Are we fact-checking Crapo, who has been a very harsh critic of the Obama Administration, or (as Fox News so aptly put it) is this just Republican math to make themselves feel better?
This only happens if the Republicans don't give up the tax cuts for the rich. They are going and they need to face it, but they have shown they aren't above tryin to screw over everyone else to try to keep them.
that back ground Music makes what he is saying hard to hear
At the risk of sounding skeptical (?)... 140 bicycles, estimated annual cost $350K. Do the math - that's $2500 per bike! Ouch! Can that be right? I've been riding a bike as primary transportation, in Boise, for 26+ years, and even in the years when I bought a brand-new bike my expenses weren't anywhere near $2500.
It's very racist to think minorities are somehow too dumb to be able to show an ID. How did they register in the first place?
"Occupy" turns 1 year old! I laughed at Huckabee's take - one-year-olds cry a lot, consume food that somebody else provides, and then make a big mess and somebody else has to clean it up. Sounds about right.
Isn't "Occupy" a club for those 47 percent of non-taxpayers that Romney was talking about? Yeah, some of 'em WOULD consider snoring "free speech"!
Seriously, I think it's offensive to say that minorities "latinos," elderly people and the uneducated have trouble with showing their I.D. to vote. This is bullshit, fuck you and you muthas! Obama!!! Make us show our birth certificate take our blood sample, we don't give a fuck, Romneys mormon ass is going down! America!
