Re: “Idaho Legislature Aims to Lure More Movie Production

Honestly, does the legislature have time to consider this with all the time tidying up the state? Why we had to be sure concealed weapons holders packed pistols on Idaho campuses, be sure Holsteins, Jersey and Gurnsey cows were being beaten in private, and fund the anti-gay marriage law fund.

Let's give these guys and homophobe Butch Otter a break. They're exhausted.

All truths about the legislature and wealthy rancher Butch Otter aside, supporting the Idaho film industry could only help Idaho. It is a great, clean industry. Everybody loves movies. Be sure to follow the history of Idaho Cinema and Nell Shipman with movie clips at Youtube. Astonishing.

Occasionally, I see a scene in a movie shot in Idaho. But, it seems many other states have just gotten in line first with their aggressive film board promotion.

Promotion of Idaho films is critical and could include major production as well as the independent film documentary. Idaho Public TV is a great resource for much of my own information about Idaho, and could be expanded. Student programs in public schools and universities could be fully expanded with funding.

Idaho, home of the Sun Valley Serenade!

PS: by the way, our legislators are not as exhausted as I portrayed. They sometimes use canned legislation provided by the ultra right legislation mill organization, ALEC.

PSPS: I've heard there is an underground railroad now for Gurnsey cows seeking to get out of Idaho, but I don't know it that is true.

PSPSPS: watch a movie for life change

I always though he was a weird man. When he went through a divorce and had a relationship with his adopted daughter was that last time I even cared about watching any of his movies. He is a sick sick man.

Re: “'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson Critical of Gays in 2010 Speech

Freedom of speech guarantees the government cannot jail you for what you say. It does not guarantee freedom from consequences. I would have thought that constitutional experts such as Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal and Ted Cruz would all know that.

This has nothing to do with FREE speech, it's all about HATE speech.

Re: “'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson Critical of Gays in 2010 Speech

I suppose we can put ol’ Phil up on a cross now and stick a spear in him since he’s the new martyr for the Christian Right. Last year, it was the Chick-Fil-A Chicken being branded as the new saint of Christianity for standing up for all that is Holy Matrimony in the eyes of the Church. These folks want to be on the wrong side of history with their public criticism of homosexuality but cry fowl (pardon the pun) when their own bigotry is examined in a public light. Phil’s licking his fingers at…

Re: “Pamela Anderson Offers $1M to End Seal Hunt; Someone Offers Anderson $1M to Stop Acting

Killing a seal is the same thing as killing any other wild animal. I don't understand how come people are still listening to activists like Anderson. Simply ridiculous how humans don't use there common sense!
Plus, I haven't herd about activist giving money to stop killing baby veals and lambs... probably because they would look dumb! and it wouldn't make them raise millions! BTW no one kills white baby seals since decades!!!!

It's a dying industry Mrs Anderson... Because YOU KILLED IT. HOW F%$?&NG ARROGANT ARE YOU? Sitting on a personal fortune amount around 335 MILLON DOLLARS, you prentend to be charitable giving scraps (about 165$ per sealer) to people YOU bankrupted!!!!!!!

You are the barbarian! You are inhumane! I hate you!

Re: “Homeland and America’s Bipolar Iran Disorder

Straight up can't take you seriously because of the title.

Since you seem to have no knowledge of what bipolar disorder is, I automatically you assume you have no knowledge of the United States' policies regarding the middle east.

Re: “Bad Reception: The Feud Between CableOne and Turner

Cable-One and probably many other companies have been putting ads right in the middle of TV shows in addition to the standard ones we have been putting up with for years. Why are we paying for television and still have ads? Why are we now even getting ads popping up in the middle of the show we are watching, on the bottom or side of the screen?

I for one am canceling my Cable-One account, and going to start using MythTV to record my shows from broadcast TV. There I can have it automatically skip ads when it records.

Re: “Homeland and America’s Bipolar Iran Disorder

How does it go?....The controllers always let the public know what they're going to do next?
Well here's yet another instance of that.
Iran is next. It's the next big prize.
Is there anyone left that doesn't know this?

Got to get the Persians locked into the Central Bank Cartel.
But the sheep must be made to believe it's just for their safety and protection.
And Pre-Crime Prevention is the contrived alleged reason.
These days that's all that's needed to silence the masses and keep the agenda on target.

Got to whip 'em up to a fever pitch for war.

Re: “MSNBC Suspends Alec Baldwin's Show After Actor Apologizes for Slur

Much ado about nothing! His baby is not even 3 months old. He had a right to get upset. I'm sure they were just words with no homophobic intention. The photographer is lucky he didn't get punched out. If people don't understand that, it's their problem. I'm really disappointed MSNBC took that action. They only hurt themselves.

Re: “CableOne and Turner Kiss and Make-Up: CNN, TBS, TCM, Cartoons Back on the Air

I don't know anybody who left CableOne over this issue, Colby. I only watched one of those channels above, and that was for reruns of the Big Bang Theory, which I can watch on DVD anyway. So, I wasn't affected.

Re: “Bad Reception: The Feud Between CableOne and Turner

Ted Turner is an egotistical maniac and apparently his style has been perpetuated throughout the evil Turner empire. By the way, isn't it a conflict of interest when TNN has (or had) the rights to broadcast MLB when Teddy is the owner of the Atlanta Braves?!?! I for one and glad that Cable One had the balls to tell Ted to F_ _k off. Ted is one of the biggest donors to the UN and is also a proponent of the IMF, CFR, and every other organization that wants to bring this country's constitution and our freedom to it's knees. He is a proponent of de-populating the world and is an arrogant prick that along with the other elitists that he hangs out with believe they have all of the answers for the world . . . because they are rich. What a bunch of arrogant assholes. Way to go Cable One, I'm with you.

Re: “Bad Reception: The Feud Between CableOne and Turner

What is happening here? Is there any new news on this? And why can't Cable-One put in networks in place of those from Turner? Such as RFDTV, RTV and FamilyNet? I'm not a big fan of CNN, or TBS, I only tune into TNT to watch the reruns of the Big Bang Theory, and used to be the mid season of NASCAR. Beyond that I see no big loss. In part I can see Cable One's point of view, why pay more for less? On that we are paying more to Cable-One,(at least here in Twin Falls) for less. Less channels, so where does it give? I have said for years, Idaho or at least our communities need to push Cable-One to sell out at least in this market to Comcast out of Utah. As part of Comcast there'd be the muscle to stop these network fights. Cable-One had a fight over AMC a few years back.
