Gawd (please always capitalize) rules over the great Barbacoa (known affectionately by the saved as "Coa") in the sky. You have to be loud, pretentious, and dress in funny clothes to get into Coa. Being a drug addict is optional but recommended.
To Ms. Hill's friends and loved ones: condolences.
To everybody: Don't smoke in bed! (Usually smoking kills you a lot slower.)
Condolences for the incredible loss to her loved ones, her admirers and to the larger community who lost an artistic voice.
I love you Molly and cherish the moments we spent together. Until we meet again!
The Police Chief, Mr Jones, is identified in the photo, but the other three seated people are not. Who are they?
JJ, I have felt since they appeared not so long ago that the "black muscle patrol cars" are meant to be intimidating. Kind of a "don't-fuck-with-us" look. They are inconsistent with the "serve and protect" words painted on them.
Who is gawd and what does he have to do with the State laws?
So very sorry to hear this tragic news. I loved her art.
I am glad that my grandsons will have an alternative to university education to look forward to after high school. Universities are excellent preparation mostly for national employment and partly for local employment and JC is excellent preparation mostly for local employment and partly for national employment and having both available is a great situation.
Headline: "Druggie business owner get time for his unconscionable offense against the state, skates on his abuse of his fiancee (which is okay in this state, apparently because...gawd says it's the right thing to do)"
If ONLY the 'good gubnor', Buttch Otta, had the moral sense to take this guy's hint.
This is one of the greatest things to happen to Boise in a long time. This city desperately needs it's own community college. I hope they plan classes that serve our refugee population, our residents that work but would like to improve their lives or change careers and high school students that cannot afford four year universities.
This is why I don't think that Boise's new 'bike share' program is going to be much of a 'thing.' People here simply ride their own bikes everywhere - especially downtown - so I really don't see them being used too much.
Sandpoint and environs have been the home to racist bigots for decades. They keep coming back, even though most of the local people don't want them there.
the state seems to be a real magnet for it..................
clem in cahoots with sherrie's law or some such................
Hey, we were sworn to secret until tomorrow!!! :D No worries. Challenge three people and do not drive a car on May 7th. Together we can make Boise the Biking Capital of the Country!
G R E A T --- Another wonderful BBP Project!!!!!!
Really boring, blah architectural sketch. This is supposed to enhance downtown? Why not add golden arches, a large muffler, and "bail bonds here" logos to jazz up the facades?
I was awakened early today and the words of George Carlin came to mind.
“In the bull**** department a businessman can’t hold a candle to a clergyman. When it comes to bull***......big time, major league bull****......you have to stand in awe of the all time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims……RELIGION. NO CONTEST. NO CONTEST. Religion easily has the greatest bull**** story ever told.”
“Think about it…..religion has actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things that he does not want you to do.....and if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he’ll send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever till the end of time……..BUT HE LOVES YOU!!!”
“In any decently run universe, this guy would have been out on his all powerful ass a long time ago.”
We must all guard against religion’s entanglement.
We must not grow weary and lose heart.
Like many Boise residents, I'm not too familiar with the nuances of international "Futbol."
1) Is a "friendly" a match that's non-competitive in the sense that they're not competing toward a championship, or something similar?
2) What are the policies on "soccer hooliganism" for those not familar? Should locals plan on drunken bloody fistfights the night before in Old Boise, carrying over into the stands the next day? We long for authenticity!!!
3) What kind of critter is that, on the Club Tijuana logo? It looks a bit like a donkey. Or maybe a Doberman Pinscher. But perhaps it's really a Chihuahua.
I'm right there on the cusp, between greedy parasite and debt saddled wage slave. Help me become a full-fledged greedy parasite, Obama!
