Re: “What Lies Beneath

Rest assured that any bill designed and proposed by the IACI (Idaho Association of Corporate Interests), will only be created to “maximize return on investment” for its business members, otherwise this lobbying collective wouldn’t bother to ‘invest’ the time and energy.

The top dog of this group made it clear what the mentality of its constituents are with the ease at which he shared his arrogant rant, which was obviously a product of his group’s assumption that they’ve got the legislature by the balls and that Siddoway, or anyone else in their way, is worthless garbage, easily dismissed with profanity.

LaBore’s reinstatement, after a vacation, hammered this message home.

Make no mistake here…….these folks are only interested in the ability to “reward the working class”, if they stand to collect the lion’s share of any ‘savings’.

Remember the bogus ‘Trickle Down’ BS that was pushed out by the corporate and media whores during Reagan’s term, acting as Dear Leader? This is just more of that same crap.

How’s that ‘trickle down’ working out for ya.....while you watch the ‘flood up’ to the parasites at the top?

Re: “Coeur d'Alene Responds to Chapel Lawsuit Over Nondiscrimination Ordinance

The very notion that someone could be prosecuted for not violating their religious convictions is shocking.

Re: “UPDATE: City Narrows Search for New Ombudsman

“Responsibility is a unique concept... You may share it with others, but your portion is not diminished. You may delegate it, but it is still with you... If responsibility is rightfully yours, no evasion, or ignorance or passing the blame can shift the burden to someone else. Unless you can point your finger at the man who is responsible when something goes wrong, then you have never had anyone really responsible.”

Yea, let's hope that the U.S. Supreme Court makes gay marriage the 'law of the land.'

Re: “Coeur d'Alene Responds to Chapel Lawsuit Over Nondiscrimination Ordinance

In the above article, someone really needs to take another look at the ambiguous, confusing wording of the "revised" paragraph that begins with "But according to..."

Re: “Coeur d'Alene Responds to Chapel Lawsuit Over Nondiscrimination Ordinance

Update. Good news: Although the city officials/attorney originally held that one had to be non-profit to have religious freedom, they have since realized their error and reversed their threat. I am glad to find reports (see link below) that the city attorney has finally admitted they've seen that one need not forgo a profit to have religious freedom. This article shows helpful info about that reversal: http://boisestatepublicradio.org/post/coeur-dalene-says-hitching-post-exempt-gay-rights-law

Re: “Ending History

Idaho is way low on the US History totem pole and even farther down on the World History pole. I am constantly amazed at local's general ignorance of the rest of the USA's geography and history, but shocked at the fact that few people know where France is located, much less Iceland. Too many ID citizens can't even read a world map. 'Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it'......a pertinent adage today because the USA is doing it--making war--all over again only worse. President Obama certainly should have declined accepting the Nobel peace prize. His drone program has mostly destroyed the lives and homes of innocent citizens/families--including children. All at the behest of foreign countries: Israel and Saudi. Time to watch Democracy Now, on channel 4.

Re: “Once Upon a Midnight Dreary: Idaho's In the Raven-Killing Business

Why did Ifang choose poison??...Because it gets the ecofacists panties in a wad!...instead of some fantasy utopic dream world, the eco nuts have created a disaster in our wildlife populations and forest management. Yes, it is predators having the impact on leek populations, Not ranchers and their 200+ years of "horrible" cows & barbed wire fences as eco twits would have you believe. Of course-to appease them, most of that money will be used for "non lethal" projects...BUT...I disagree with poison too. Unlike wolves and coyotes that can be controlled with xylitol and not harm any other living thing, I don't believe non target animals need to be at risk with avicides. Bounties work!..Use them!

Re: “Liar, Liar, Planet on Fire

This the same Naomi Oreskes (professor of history) who:
Says "When it comes to climate change, openmindedness is the wrong approach."
So basically you are lauding up a history professor with 0 background in actual climate science, came up with a debunked 97 percent project full of lies, slanders her opponents, has continually had an agenda and profits by it, complains about 10s of millions of dollars to "contrarians" as funding while accepting billions of dollars given to meet her own specific goals, ignores her own funding from Shell and Exxon while demonizing everyone else, and never has produced anything scientific in her whole life?

The same James Hansen that has belonged to politically motivated groups profiteering from ACGW before even appearing at GISS? The same one whom, upon acquiring GISS employment, he changed all the data in the record that had been there for years. The one that disagreed with every other method of temperature measurement (including satellite, largely recognized as the most accurate) in favor of his own mercury stations (he manipulates) that barely cover the globe.
Shew, for a little while I thought this article was talking about people concerned with science.
