Re: “Effort to Quash Electioneering on School Bonds Moving Forward at Idaho Statehouse

The Republicans in this state will do anything to keep non Republicans from voting. That's what this is about. They do not want people getting absentee ballots.

Re: “Trump's Clumsy Sweep: Idaho Immigrants Caught in Political Divide

To SHOOGI, you don't sound very bright yourself.
Most of Micron's workers are immigrants, pretty sure they are smarter and brighter than half of Idaho's population.
You are what the problem with this country is, not the immigrants. Take a good look at yourself and ask yourself "am I a good human being?". We both know the answer to that, I feel sorry for you.

Re: “Trump's Clumsy Sweep: Idaho Immigrants Caught in Political Divide

Good riddance to these people who have illegally invaded our country! Fuck your globalist agenda, it is a privilege to live in this country, and we shouldn't allow border hoppers to stay here. And fuck the agriculture industry, they are the ones who have lobbied to keep this source of cheap labor flowing across our border. And Trump is right, these aren't the best and brightest coming here, they are overwhelmingly uneducated Rancheros. The biggest problem to me is the attempt at changing our culture, marching in our streets with mexican flags, committing vandalism, creating gangs, REAL Americans are sick of this shit! They want to make this Mexico, which, for the most part is an utter shithole.

Re: “Fear Full

Hi Zach, Thanks for picking my home, St. Croix, to celebrate your 10th anniversary last August. St. Croix has been my home for almost 20 years. We are a wonderful community of multiple ethnic groups. The mood toward national politics is now trending toward just wanting to get away from all the "sound and fury signifying nothing" (Macbeth Act V, Scene V). Of course we have more than our share of crazy politics here, but at least we can go down to one of our many beaches and relax by the waves. As a freelance photographer for The Virgin Islands Daily News, I am able to attend events and functions throughout St. Croix. My observation is that the majority of people living here are very unhappy with the current administration. I hope you will visit St. Croix again. Cheers, Linda Morland

Re: “Greg Pruitt Speaks at Idaho Gun Rally, Unholsters 'New Agenda'

Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act Constitutional - Is a Trojan Horse..
The bill is a dastardly trick and a Trojan horse for institutionalizing licenses, permits, national ID cards, etc.

And the end game of all those licenses, permits, national ID cards and such is eventual confiscation of all arms.

And after that extermination.

Here is the 2014 edition: https://www.congress.gov/bill/113th-congre…

Also, the federal government has no constitutional authority to make ANY laws dictating who may and who may not carry arms; or under what circumstances people may and may not carry arms across State borders! Arms control of the people is not an enumerated power!

video on arms, here it is: https://vimeo.com/60944105

State concealed carry laws which require a "permit" is an idea crafted in the pits of h ell. The real purpose is to register gun owners! People think it is so cool to have a permit for concealed carry - they don't understand that it is like the free sample of heroin.

Re: “Greg Pruitt Speaks at Idaho Gun Rally, Unholsters 'New Agenda'

The TRUTH about the "supremacy clause" - our Constitution does not delegate to the national government authority to restrict our arms, ammunition, regulate firearms dealers, do background checks, etc. The national government may not lawfully circumvent this restriction by means of a treaty wherein the signatory governments agree to disarm their Citizens or Subjects.

Re: “Idaho Panel Will Consider 'Convention of the States' Proposal to Amend U.S. Constitution

Unfortunately there's so much incorrect and biased information in the media and in opponents comments, the nature, structure and operation of an actual Article V convention has been lost in the negative propaganda.

Re: “It Just Gets Nuttier: Idaho Legislature Will Consider Robot Bill

They might as well do something, since they've already fully funded education and the road-repair costs that resulted from our long winter. Good thing they didn't coddle millionaires with a tax cut.

Oh, that didn't happen? Oh, I forgot, this is Idaho, the "whoopie cushion of states".

Re: “Prosecutor Says Dietrich High Assault Not Sex or Race Crime, Teen Pleads Guilty to Lesser Felony

"It's not our belief that this was a racially motivated crime. This was more of a vulnerable victim-motivatedcrime. I think it probablywould have happened to anybody that was in the same kind of circumstances and mental state as the victim here."

Oh, so that's alright then is it? If someone is a vulnerable victim, it is sort of their fault for attracting violent bullies.

Everyone who cares, please sign the petition at change.org to bring this case to proper justice. The sentence as it stands is an outrage against justice.

And while it appears from reports that the perpetrator accepts that he committed the crime of which he is accused, he will be permitted to maintain his innocence after completion of probation and have his record wiped clean.

Call the crime racist, call it a hate crime, call it a felony, whatever. A trusting, disabled child had a coat hanger inserted then kicked into his rectum by people he regarded as his friends. These same friends who had taught him to sing a song abusing racial minorities. He expressed that he had never experienced such pain before. He has several times attempted suicide since the assault. He is currently in a hospital.

Re: “Resistance is Textile: Inside the Boise State Exhibition 'Crafting Resistance'

Looking at the previous comments reminds me of the way my brother was treated and harassed when the US Navy sent him to Idaho for schooling and training to be stationed on the first nuclear submarine, the USS Nautilus (SSN-571). It looks as though some residents of Idaho are still as bigoted an ignorant as they were way back in the 1950s. Does anyone remember "Archie Bunker"? Signed: J. D. Furlong

In response to previous comments: They remind me of the hateful way my brother was treated and harassed when the US Navy sent him to Idaho to be schooled and trained to be stationed as an engineman on the first nuclear submarine, The USS Nautilus (SSN-571). Let's see how they work in SLC or Portland. Could go either way - very good/very bad.
