Yes, It is very dangerous when the spy agencies realize the new guy will take control of them. Several agencies simply need to be forever shuttered and the rest put in the corner where they can be watched. Where is Frank Church when we need him.

The French economy is about the same size as Texas -- so who cares! Oh, you're worried because it's one of 5 countries in the EU that pay their own bills? Still, who cares.

The Russian rigged the election thing fell flat here, but over there Russia has no need to spy in France. The French will sell anything to anyone. For example: During the Falkland Islands War. French aviation technicians in Argentina repaired aircraft and Exocet missiles used to kill British and sink British ships.

If the alt-right wins in France it will be because the traditional French people have grown tired of the violence and hatred from the invaders.
