Re: “Panel of Policy Makers and Legal Experts Decry Sovereign Citizen Movement

They go after street thugs selling crack or people speeding while they destroy our entire system of law. Of course they will claim a boogey man of sovereign citizens is dangerous so that they can continue their criminal fleecing of the entire, mostly brainwashed, population. If those criminals claiming to be judges had any honor they would require the States to use gold and silver coin as tender exactly as article 1 section 10 of the US Constitution requires. Our juries should indict and convict every single one of these criminals claiming to be gov and sentence them to death, that is exactly what they deserve and it is absurd to hear the People discussing any other petty criminals at this point. The only thing We the People should discussing is how to remedy the injury the individuals who overthrew the Government are inflicting upon us all. If We the People brought them to justice we would find the world a much more peaceful and prosperous place. The criminals who overthrew the government are the bad guys and their tender violations are just the tip of their criminal iceberg.

Re: “Panel of Policy Makers and Legal Experts Decry Sovereign Citizen Movement

The 'government' robs the People of their property and enslaves them to a system of personhood where a fraudulent, mathematically guaranteed to fail, ever-devaluing and unconstitutional debt based tender is used by the criminals in government to further expand their tyranny upon all law abiding people. The criminals claiming to be 'judges', US/State/District/Commonwealth attorneys also levy every kind of fraud, extortion, obstruction of justice, jury tampering, drug war, theft, kidnapping, enslavement and conspiracy against their neighbors for their own wrongful pecuniary advantage. They are the infamous criminals who are protecting themselves from being brought to justice (misprision) by obstructing individual people's access to our Grand Juries so that the proper criminal indictments can never be issued and these psychopaths brought to justice and permanently remove them from society for their never ending crime spree and injury upon the people.

Re: “Now and Then: Giving Voice to the Most Controversial Era of the Boise Police Department

Eugene, fo you remember young boy named Robert Manwell who went missing in Boise 8 years ago? Look up the circumstances and significance of Robert's disappearance, as it relates to your comments. I could tell you but you need to occupy some time to find Boise Police Officers do not terrorize our community. They protect and serve our community and persue the "bad people " who murder children and commit crimes against our community. The BPD does this job every day and every day in Boise we are all a little bit safer.

Re: “Panel of Policy Makers and Legal Experts Decry Sovereign Citizen Movement

This is a positive move, the movement is dangerous and sucks people in with promises of freedom from financial obligations and state law, they misinterpret the statute law and constitutional law taking out the bits that don't fit their rhetoric, well done to everyone involved in this

Re: “Now and Then: Giving Voice to the Most Controversial Era of the Boise Police Department

The omission of testimony of citizens on the receiving end of police violence is worth noting to say the least. "History permits criticism" but not if you censor some of the most important voices.

People who are given that amount of power over other people's lives really shouldn't take the position that there are bad people who deserved to die. Police like those interviewed here often terrorize many in our communities with total impunity, but you wouldn't know it if you only heard from them (and accepted their every word without employing any critical thinking skills). This could be a really interesting project. Instead it seems like a tedious pro-police puff piece.

Re: “Now and Then: Giving Voice to the Most Controversial Era of the Boise Police Department

I'm proud of all the amazing hours and dedication of that was put towards this thesis!! I have so much pride to see that the Boiseweekly took interest in writing an article. Chelsee put her heart & soul into this project. I found it very informative about all the stages of the BPD over the years. To learn about and give honor to the policemen who now keep you safe.

Re: “Why Doesn't Donald Trump's 'American Greatness' Include Bert and Ernie?

Sesame Street is a multi billion dollar enterprise and does not need corporate welfare from the Federal Government anymore. End of story.

Re: “Why Doesn't Donald Trump's 'American Greatness' Include Bert and Ernie?

Sesame Street sold itself to HBO in August of 2015.

https://thinkprogress.org/sunny-days-are-c…

The "Bert and Ernie" thing is cute, but the whole neighborhood got off welfare a year and a half ago, so "Sesame Street" isn't getting cut.

BW, did you check this at all?

Re: “Donald Trump's Table Manners

So Meals on Wheels funding isn't planned to be cut (" the Trump White House hasn't mentioned any proposed cuts to OAA") and it's unclear what fraction the Feds pay to fund the school lunch program ("It turns out that the federal government only partially pays for school lunches at a CEP school").

Is there any reporting in this story? Could you quantify the cuts on the table, and compare them to the amount funded through non-Federal means?

Re: “City Hall Plaza Renovation Begins, Closing Capitol Blvd. Entrance Until Late August

Boise city's unofficial motto:
"If you can get there, it's not our fault."

More wasted money and congested traffic. They do all they can to close downtown streets, prevent parking downtown, close off necessary streets for ridiculous reasons, and cause traffic congestion with resulting wasted gas, pollution, and short tempers.

Boise hates to have people get downtown, or enjoy being there. How bizarre.
