as always, interesting...
The entire bunch of them are Unstable.
Never heard about this store, gonna check it ! Used to buy stuff at Asos, Amazon and my favourite one https://www.gotapparel.com .
Mai Thai?!? Again?
People must be just blown away by the interior because the food is not the best Thai in Boise. Chiang Mai and Sa-Wa-Dee spank Mai Thia
Very Nice! Major's Lemon Basil Martini wins for the third straight year!
This must be the year that 2nd place is the "new" 1st place.
Best Doctor in Town!
It seems to me that we are putting the cart before the horse, and that you are correct it is an over-reach. Tackling the issue of what we feed kids inside the school should come first, and of a better fit for government regulation. However, I do not think that calling fast food "so-called unhealthy" is anywhere close to accurate. Whoever wrote that line needs to be more careful. There is no debate whether fast food is healthy, nor should there be whether global warming is real. There is no "so called" about it, and using that language is dangerous for the same reasons. Find any genuine peer reviewed research that extols the health benefits of fast food, and I'll eat my hat.
Councilman Thompson's plan, so flawed in its reach, was definitely something that would help children.
Yay Will, you are the best!!! Always a good friend and a magician with flowers and whatever else you can mash together. Your pieces are always moving and create memories that are cherished a lifetime...Amazing!
Way to go Bluebird.
Cobbys and Crew
Bob's is the best! Friendly, no pressure sales people and a fabulous service department. Bobby Peterson and the crew are definitely the best in Boise.
Very honored to win Boise's Best Local Bike Shop. A little confused about the metaphor they used, but still honored.
I think Boise has a lot of Best Bicycle Shops, just best at different things. For DIY repair, used bikes and parts, education, and advocacy, yep, I'd say BBP takes the cake. Plus BBP has the hardest working staff in the history of history. But, I think there are certainly things that George's, IMT, and others are best at too. Boise is lucky to have some many great bicycle shops!
Gotta love these guys...
Disappointed to see the BW trash talking a local business trying to recover and turn things around. Tongue in cheek, or just tasteless? I like how there's no mention of the store's efforts to redouble on food safety, or the fact that they voluntarily shut down their deli as soon as they found out.
In complete agreement!
'Payette' is good, mind you, but for my money, 'Woodland Empire' is THE BEST brewer in town!!!!

Thanks for your vote everyone!! Great company to be in!
It's a shame that Boise Weekly put "best local bike shop" in the "Sports and Recreation" category.
While I s'pose a sizable percentage of the population (apparently including BW) views bikes as "toys" for their recreational hobbies and whatnot, a growing percentage views them as ALSO being transportation. A bicycle has been my transportation - albeit a very enjoyable form of transportation - for coming up 30 years. So I went looking for bike shop under "Goods and Services." (Boise Bicycle Project is a good pick, as are George's and Idaho Mountain Touring.)
