I made an appointment for a "consultation"... Apparently... and a week later, i went to said "consultation"... Met with a man, if you wanna call him that... To discuss the tattoo i wanted to get on my arm. I was and have been really excited to get this tattoo. He kept trying to talk me out of getting it on my arm, and an easier place, not for me, no, not easier for me, but for him... He wasn't confident at all... he should of been excited about doing this type of work, such great art... but yet, made me feel immediately uncomfortable, he looked so at ease about doing it where he wanted my tattoo, not where i wanted it. Again, all he did was try to talk me out of the tattoo, and look on the internet on how to copy the tattoo. I was wondering why he wouldn't want to put his own touch on this great, beautiful piece of art...
FYI: suck a dick, daaaa daaaa daaaa dick, shitty artists.... for-real though... bunch-a bravo fox-trots. bunch-a bravo alpha lima lima - sierra uniform charlie kilo sierra's.... unforgivable.
Food is good although Ambiance is poor!!They can do so much more better with little bit more space and showing some courtesy to costumers.
I wonder how many people know that cows aren't supposed to eat corn? This produces an unhealthy, unnatural animal that we seem to completely ignore.
Bologna to the first two comments. Great food, reasonable prices, attentive service. Try India itself, you won't do any better.
Tatooing has a rich history indeed.
In Japan, tattoos were used to mark criminals, while creating what appears to be the original "Three strikes your out" law.
First offenses were marked with a line across the forehead.
A second crime was marked by adding an arch.
A third offense was marked by another line.
Together these marks formed the Japanese character for "dog". .
More Tatoo history:
white trash heaven!
The Trolley was always my favorite. I haven't been there in forever, though.
The Egg Factory is great. No hype there, just good breakfast.
I have only been to Goldy's once so maybe I shouldn't judge it too harshly, but personally I don't see what all the love of this place is about. The food is definitely over priced and nothing special. I have lived in Boise for 4 years and there are much better places for breakfast besides Goldy's. My apologizes to all the hip Goldy lovers out there. :-)
I too cannot figure out what all the hype is about at this pathetic excuse for a restaurant. It smells inside and the food is very so so. As for better, Boise does lack but I find some redeeming food at Cafe de Paris and The Fork (Saturday brunch... hit/miss but can be quite good).
I have know this forever since the good ol days with CASTEL and I at Old Chicago. Way to go major
Love this write-up. Darcy definitely deserves props. She's an artist, for sure. Her work is beautiful, personal and inspired.
Lucky Fins will win hands down next year !!
Still can't figure out how this gets voted for best seafood, when it's mediocre at best. Boisean's taste palettes and pocketbooks are not too discriminating, then?
And as soon as you get the name right.... it's the Boise River Park!
Thanks a ton!
Bahahahahahahaha!!! Thank you, Boise Weekly!! You guys crack me up! I'll plan your next party, btw... But look out, it's gonna be OFF THE CHAIN!!!! Muah!
El Gallo Giro has maintained wonderful food and service. The owners are always there, and it shows. EGG is a treat and well worth the ride to Kuna. The brunch buffet on Thursday, Friday and Sunday might be the best value in the valley. My dinner suggestion when I tell people about EGG is always Camarones Borrachos.
so... the way the site is edited, the "category" bar now says "Best place for cock." a worthy category, but perhaps not what you were going for?
Thirty years ago The Flicks started Boise's Grand March To becoming the livable and interesting city it is today. Thanks to The Flick's owners and others like them, Boise's Downtown is alive and thriving. Boise has matured into a more open hearted city. It even seems as though the average IQ has soared !
Should BTS even be eligible? Don't think they did a show here the entire year. I'm glad they are successful, but they are not really a "local" band.
