Re: “A Sampling of Boise's Barbecue Scene

Goodwood is definitely the best but Mickey Ray's shouldn't even be mentioned in the same article. I just can't get excited about Mickey's food.

Re: “The New Frontier

Awesome local bar with friendly staff. Unlike some of the snobby bars of downtown Boise. The staff of the New Frontier treat you like family the second you walk in. Great pool tables, darts, shuffle board and a big stage feature awesome local talent. Definitely worth the drive to Meridian without the fuss of downtown Boise.

Re: “Cracking Kids

It's always nice to know what options are out there! BoDo Chiro is full of friendly people who want to make a difference. There is a connection between mind and body and exploring possibilities to fill a need without a drug or doctor visit is certainly worth trying! Don't knock it until you try it :)

Re: “Cracking Kids

Great article, Dr. Dorn! Thanks for the great information that is so helpful when starting a family. And thank you for access to your office. Anyone who takes the time and dedication to write articles to help spread such a positive and important word is someone I am definitely interested in taking care of my family! Keep up the good work and I would love to see more articles from you on wholistic parenting!!

Re: “Cracking Kids

Wonderful article Dr. Dorn!! I've personally seen some amazing things happen with chiropractic and pregnancy/pediatrics, and I love that your bringing more awareness to the subject. The wool has been pulled over peoples eyes for too long. Thank you for caring enough about our well being to put this information out despite any criticism that might come your way. The more people know, the better they can take care of themselves.

Re: “Cracking Kids

Soooo, you let a chiropractor publish an article extolling the virtues of chiropracty, and included a link to her business' webpage and phone number? At the very least this should have been filed under 'Opinion,' if not 'Special Advertising Section.'

Re: “Boise Weekly's 12th Annual Coldest Beer

I recommend that the BW stop the 'coldest beer' story, as any true beer enthusiast knows, certain beers are best enjoyed at temps that one would not consider truly 'cold.'

Re: “Breaking Free: Meat- and gluten-free dining in Boise

Do you have an article on a list of organic restaurants in Boise/Meridian/Nampa? I've been trying to find some places with no luck=(

Re: “Eating Right

Tara,
You are missing Zoe 75 and the Ketchum Grill at the top of your rankings. Beats the top two you have listed here.
Better service
wider and more popular food choices
value pricing.
Of course this is my opinion(:>)

Re: “Legends Sports Pub and Grill

I have been going to thus restaurant for years & they recently made some changes to the menu. Food is always so yummy!!! Not typical bar food! Highly recommend the sirloin with blue cheese sauce. Best steak in Boise hands down!!! Drinks are pretty awesome too.

Re: “Boise Weekly's 12th Annual Coldest Beer

The extreme fluctuation in beer temps from last year to this year at so many local bars has got me me wondering when the last time your thermometers were calibrated.

Re: “Boise Weekly's 12th Annual Coldest Beer

Cold beer is tasteless and in the era of craft beers has become an anachronism of sorts.

Re: “Chef Profile: David Knickrehm

I find myself at a 4 star 4 diamond resort still looking David up to see what he is doing and what crazy things he is inventing in the kitchen. Good cooking buddy.

Re: “Breaking Free: Meat- and gluten-free dining in Boise

i just wish we had a gluten free vegan/vegetarian restaurant that wasn't so "hippy-dippy". just because i don't eat meat doesn't mean i wave a tie dyed flag.
