You came close, but didn't sell the idea to enough folks. You have only to look in the nearest mirror to place blame on the right person for this loss. I, for one, am tired of listening to you crying every time you don't get your way.Stop whining and do work.
Ya, that stupid constitution. If it weren't for that we would have what we want. Seriously? WOW! It didn't pass because enough people have brains in their heads and voted no on the bonds. The government should not go into debt to buy what they want, even if they say it is for the people. We don't need more parks. Quit it. Cut spending. Decrease government. If you want another park or fire training facility put it in the budget and save up for it for 5 or 10 years and then build it. Ask for donations from the community. Quit asking for more money all the time. The citizens of Boise are struggling financially and you want to increase their taxes and take more of their money away from them to maintain and improve the foothills? Sorry. Thank you.
Thanks for highlighting my point of how the undereducated masses of Idaho simply regurgitate the words they're being fed and not have any original thoughts of their own. There are three sides to every coin and everything is open for discussion, but you can't discuss things with people that have their blinders on. If one doesn't spout the same old right-wingist manure, you're simply not welcome, and that's a perfect example for the f-term.
Craig could have just accepted the CORRECT judgement by the FEC and let this embarrassing item fade. I guess any press is good press? What a dingus.
I disagree -- I think it *is* funny, and sounds like something Andy would have loved!
If Cope is "forward thinking" as you say, why then is he so one dimensional in his writings? A truly "forward thinking" person would "lay things out" for all to consider in a way more considerate of other views. Your assessment of conservatives as "uneducated and fascist" is right in line with the kind of biased crap that Cope pukes up for his followers, who could also be worthy of a tag such as you've put on people who think along other lines of politics. So if we agree with Cope, we are "forward thinkers". If not, we're (pick your derogatory handle) scum. Sounds a little fascist to me.
My friend Cope is the most forward thinking writer we got in this state of calcified, uneducated, fascist conservatives. Without him this place wouldn't be the same. Of course nobody is expected to agree with everything he's saying, but he lays it all out there for us to consider. Kind of like a mental kick starter for the day. Weather he makes you loathe or grin, he gets the juices flowing with his lez affaire style of writing. Way to go Cope, keep it coming.
Patterson..liar, guilt by own admission of assault, did I say liar? What is in the water in Idaho? Liar? Rapist? Lame attempt to avoid the above? Again...what are you smoking out there? Maybe Mr. Patterson can go hang out in Toronto with that effed up guy. They can hang out and lie to each other all day. That would get the lying sob patterson out of the US but would, sadly, add to Canada's already extreme difficulty. Mr. Patterson you are humiliating the state of Idaho. Time for you to go..go hang out with your dutiful, oh you know the rest. Just go. You're a liar. Go away.
Paul has already begun copying and pasting his convention speech together.
"Four score and seven years. . ."
A lot of criminals come to Idaho to hide. Wrong! A lot of criminals come to Idaho and go to jail. I think they should all be sent back to where the crimes were committed and spend their jail time there. Why do the Idaho tax payers have to foot the bill for out of state criminals? They shouldn't have too!
The fine is not a deterrent against deviate behavior, it is a deterrent against using campaign funds for personal expenses. The FEC got it right, campaign funds should not have been used for Craig's personal problem.
Pretty low, and not funny. Andy wouldn't be impressed I'm sure.
We still love you Andy!
Now this bag of wind is going to start a blog. So, his blather in BW isn't enough? I would rather listen to golf on the radio than read any pap by this " ignorant, evil, dog-humping excuse for a human being". Cope needs to climb up a rat's ass and have a cheese sandwich. If it wasn't for the NY Times Sunday crossword, I wouldn't wrap my fish in this rag.
Well, the front page of the Idaho Statesman today is sure misleading... It states "Idaho exchange's enrollment is just 338."
In a study of arrested child pornography possessors, 40 percent had both sexually victimized children and were in possession of child pornography.
Of those arrested between 2000 and 2001, 83 percent had images involving children between the ages 6 and 12; 39 percent had images of children between ages 3 and 5; and 19% had images of infants and toddlers under age 3

Is that a concealed weapon in your pocket or are you just planning on raping me?
People....before you vote, one word...RESEARCH!!! This has to stop, we need everyone to vote but not if this is the result!
Sounds right on target to me. God bless you Mr. Bowers for the work you have done to shed light on the Communists. BTW...we know that denial is a fundamental strategy of the Reds so the mockery is really no surprise. Would we expect anything less?
"...to intimidate me from serving the people of Idaho.”
BW, you spelled "screwing" wrong.
I was Patterson's opponent in2012. It is hard for voters to know who they're actually voting for when a candidate refuses to attend public forums, participate in televised debates or answer questions from the media. Patterson refused all three. I met with thousands of constituents at their door during the 2012 campaign. No one I met said Patterson knocked on their door.
Yet he still won.
Since taking office, Patterson has never met with his constituency in an open public forum, nor has he communicated in writing via email or letter. In fact, Patterson went to Canyon county to drum up support for his legislation to put cops in jail if they enforced a future federal gun laws (HB219) – he never met with or solicited public input from his own constituents (reported by the Boise Weekly). We’re now getting a better understanding as to why he wants voters to know as little about him as possible.
This is the risk of basing one's vote on the letter next to the candidate's name. Anyone who voted for Patterson in 2012 had almost no information about him other than the "R" next to his name.
Voters should remember this in 2014. Vote for the person, not just for the letter next to their name. That letter may not stand for what you think it does.
