Re: “One Arrested at Idaho Statehouse Pro-Wolf Demonstration

Humans are so stupidly selfish, short-sighted and greedy. We want to kill off everything we don't understand, don't like or which might be inconvenient, even though, in reality, those creatures (like wolves) are essential for the running of the planet.

Wolves have every bit as much (if not more) right to be here than we do, with our resource-hungry, destructive, unsustainable, spoiled lifestyles. Wolves drive biological diversity, healthy ecosystems and improve herd health and vigor. The opposite of human-effects on wildlife populations.

Humans, on the other hand, are the only species in the history of the planet who will utterly devastate our own home and every other living creature in it, for greed. Or in this case, cattle. Cattle which are non-native, destructive, invasive and have no right being released onto our public lands -

I (and millions like me) have every right to wilderness, to wolves and other wildlife, to open spaces and vibrant, biologically diverse forests and a healthy planet. Yet the small-minded, the fearful, the self-serving and pandering, like Butch Otter, steal from us.

The complex biological diversity this planet had been blessed with has already been diminished by our ignorant, greedy actions. And we're already suffering the consequences but are too blind and pigheaded to see it.

The world is NOT about us. We are like spoiled children, wanting our way, with all the willfulness and petulance (and even temper-tantrums) of a toddler who wants his way no matter what. We're running ram shod over Creation even though, in truth, we have no idea what the heck we're doing.

Leave the wolves alone. No one with any education believes your horror stories, they are tired and trite. Loose and feral dogs are a bigger danger to children, pets and livestock than wolves, coyotes, mountain lions or bears. Fence your livestock, use range riders, fladdery, livestock-guarding dogs. Not lethal force.

Lethal force as a first defense is the first sign of a small, weak mind.

This is about bigger issues than just wolves. Our intolerance will be our undoing. We can't get along with other species and we can't get along with each other.

Maybe our change needs to come from within, not by lashing out against nature.

Re: “BSPR: Idahoans Living in Poverty Increasingly Concentrating into 'High-Poverty Areas'

If only you had realized, dickweed, that the welfare you talking about is really a corporate one. Corporations, who don’t pay taxes as it is, shift the burden of support of their workforce on regular taxed enough taxpayers. Why do you think WinCo or CosCo are able to pay their workers substantially more than WalMart and not go out of business?

Most of poor people are working poor. And if they were paid the decent wage, there would be no reason for welfare. Only an idiot who has no idea of what it’s like to live in poverty would come up in their dickweed brain with something like “poverty pimping”. I hope invisible hand of the market would throw yer arse out on the cobblestone and us pimps would laugh at you.

Re: “Earth-Like Planet Discovered Next to Our Solar System

If Chava Energy’s claims regarding their pretended Revolutionary Breakthrough development of “Fractional Hydrogen” “SPICE” engines, Ambient Temperature Thermionic Converters, “Ultraconductor” wire, “Ultraconductor Energy Storage Systems,” and Zero Point Energy harvesting “MagGen” generators were not false and fraudulent, why did Hagen Ruff suddenly remove those claims from Chava’s website?

In fact, all of those fraudulent claims came originally from the very same source: Chava Energy Co-founder and Chief Market Research Officer Mark Goldes, and Goldes’ previous company, Magnetic Power Inc.

We do find and state that Hagen Ruff’s Chava Energy LLC has made a great many utterly false and fraudulent claims and statements, showing very unscrupulous dishonesty, on the matters of “Fractional Hydrogen” engines, Ambient Temperature Thermionic Converters, and “MagGen” generators that supposedly harness Zero Point Energy. Chava Energy’s claims and statements regarding “Ultraconductor” wire and “Ultraconductor Energy Storage Systems” were also false and dishonest to some degree, in various ways.

The relentless and pervasive dishonesty, fraudulence, and unscrupulousness, that characterized Mark Goldes’ use of his company Magnetic Power Inc for over twenty years prior to the founding of Chava LLC and Chava Energy LLC, has also characterized Mark Goldes’ and Hagen Ruff’s use of Chava LLC and Chava Energy LLC ever since they were founded.

Re: “BSPR: Idahoans Living in Poverty Increasingly Concentrating into 'High-Poverty Areas'

Always have to show the poverty numbers bigger and bigger. Why not just say "100% of Americans live in a country where there is poverty"? That should make the welfare wonks and poverty pimps real happy.

Re: “Interstate Highway Speed Limits to Change Next Week

By snails pace do you mean..less than 5 above the speed limit? Why that's a moving roadblock to you. People always run 7-10 over, so speed limit 80 means 87-90 actual speeds. Does that sound safe? BTW, have you ever understood what "limit" means?

Re: “BSPR: Idahoans Living in Poverty Increasingly Concentrating into 'High-Poverty Areas'

36% is the number of already poor people concentrated in the poor areas that is increased (increased segregation creates vicious cycle of disenfranchisement, Table 1b). The actual percentage of people in poverty is “only” 18.6% (Table 1a).

Re: “YMCA Tax Exemption Reinstated, Ada County Commissioners Reverse Earlier Action

This type of pack the house to reverse a previous decision seems more Mob Rule than democracy. Either the commissioners remove the attorney that guided them to the previous decision or explain how you can retain someone that gave you the legal opinion to go from 100 to 19 percent that now you reverse?

WORM CREEK, sort of appropriate, isn't it?

I hope someone gives this gigantic BAG of dung what he truly deserves.

Re: “Video: Crouch Chamber of Commerce On Free-For-All Fireworks: 'It's Gotten Out of Hand'

We know people who have been burned and others who have had to put out grass fire caused by the fireworks. People have come from all over Idaho with crates of illegal fireworks. I can't believe Crouch still allows this, considering the lawsuit Boise Co. endured. We lived in Garden Valley and saw people lighting fireworks at Terrace Lakes right beside the "no fireworks" sign.

Re: “One Arrested at Idaho Statehouse Pro-Wolf Demonstration

Wolves are essential as an invaluable part of a healthy ecosystem. The recent Yellowstone study demonstrates this beyond any doubt. I am an Idaho resIdent & am pro-wolf. I will be voting for A.J. Balukoff, who is pro wolf.

Re: “One Arrested at Idaho Statehouse Pro-Wolf Demonstration

The wolves were reintroduced for what, to be killed off, poisoned, shot, stabbed, trapped, abused, torn apart by dogs, wolf pups gassed and burned alive and more. Sounds to me like wolves were set up for failure by the state of Idaho. The good people of Idaho support the wolves and are afraid to even speak up because of being constantly harassed by the anti wolf bullies.

Re: “Idaho's New Rules: More Guns, Fewer Payday Loans And A Lot More Money to Kill Wolves

This is such a bizarro story: the government that in its infinite wisdom stocked the state with the wrong breed of wolves thinks it is also smart enough to manage the kinds of loans you can make, while simultaneously expanding your access to lethal weapons. If they can't manage the interior correctly, I seriously doubt they should be managing our personal finances. And if they don't trust people to make loans for themselves, how is it they trust them to tote guns around anywhere they please?
