Re: “Lewiston Tribune: Whooping Cough Break-Out in Idaho County

.

Here's a collection of mainstream news stories and studies which prove the whooping cough vaccine is causing the bacteria to mutate - AND - that the overwhelming majority who contract WC are fully vaccinated:

When are YOU spineless Idaho Sheep going to standup for our kids.
Now the scum sucking Idaho Law Makers are turning down 90 Million from the feds witch will basically shut down Head Start and abandon Idaho's poor.
Idaho is NOT A Democracy. I can't imagine the LDS backing this blunder but who knows maybe they're trying to get rid of the rest of us? Even the Idaho gun toting Rednecks with minimum wage jobs will feel the pinch when the food stamps stop coming. Who they gonna shoot then?

Re: “Lewiston Tribune: Amazing Rescue as Vehicle Rolls To Edge of Lewiston Cliff

It was 29-year-old Jason Warnock of Lewiston who appeared on the scene, rescued the driver of the vehicle, and left. Police have since identified Warnock, thanked him for his heroic efforts, and then cited him for leaving the scene of an accident.

Re: “UPDATE: Otter Vetoes Cannabis Oil Bill

Earth to Butch! It's 2015 Butch. If this product (round up tolerant of course) was for suffering cows or horses you would have rammed it down the throats of the Legislature. Kids are on their own. Was this more of the "God's Will" mindset? Good Lord people, why do we keep voting for this guy. He's not a bad guy, he just has no business as our Chief Executive.

Re: “UPDATE: Otter Vetoes Cannabis Oil Bill

This is typical of the phony, two-faced, ‘State’s Rights’ stand that is often seen with this sort of politician. When a Federal law gives them more control over the citizens of their state, then they embrace that law, but when Federal laws don’t give them more control, then they’re adamant about trying to resist those laws.

“Of course I sympathize…blah, blah, blah”…. is just boilerplate horse**** for bald-faced condescension on the part of ‘compassionate conservatives’ such as this.

It’s important to remember that this elected official was re-elected not long ago by citizens that have been able to observe his actions for several years and still chose to keep him in office anyway. The lack of awareness that would continue to support someone as narrow-minded as this, is regularly demonstrated by many of the legislators in this state.

Much of the state governance is heavily influenced by the Christian Right, Social Conservatism mentality that is predominant here. Since that Christian Right mentality is a result of a church indoctrinated, conservation of awareness, this sort of narrow-minded mentality is bound to be exhibited by many public servants.

Re: “CuMo Mining Corporation Gets One Step Closer to Exploration of Boise River Headwaters

Fourteen miles NW of Idaho City are the headwaters of Grimes Creek which flows into Mores Creek which enters the Boise way downstream from the its headwaters. Just saying. Headwaters of Grimes are just barely, if it's now complete, cleaned up from the gold dredges of decades. Not that there may not be valid objections to this mining, but just that if the basic facts aren't straight, it's difficult to know what is.

Re: “Modest University Tuition Increases Granted by Idaho Board of Ed

What's could be cheaper than this? Let's just shut down our schools and send everyone to the University of Phoenix. I hear they have a good 2 for 1 deal going right now on degrees. They'll even certify you as a dentist in Jamaica for on $99.95 (but only if you're already a Sam's Club member). Better yet, let's just all hit each other on the head with rocks. Or at least the rich assholes who feel they owe nothing to the society that provided them with wealth and opportunity.

Any new mining should come after we've cleaned up the Super Fund mining sites State wide.

Re: “Modest University Tuition Increases Granted by Idaho Board of Ed

What are students paying for these days? They should be upset to know that a lot of their tuition does not go towards their actual education. The experts who teach them, like the numerous adjunct faculty, will see no meaningful change from these tuition hikes.
