Re: “KIFI: Three Veteran Lawmakers Latest to Reap Huge Idaho Retirement Perk

We need to eliminate this PERSI and force these Azzclowns to live on SSI and 401k investments like the rest of us.

Re: “A Fair Day's Wage: Obama's Proposed Overtime Expansion Could Affect 20,000 Idahoans

Businesses will cry. CONservative pundits will cry. The tears will fall, perhaps in quantities sufficient to solve the California drought, and legions will stamp their feet in petty anger. In the end most business owners can afford to do this. So they will have to deal with lesser amounts of profits...boo hoo hoo, return more money to the masses and you will see your business's sales grow. Freaking simple economics, folks, if you don't have money to spare you don't buy things you need, or even luxury items. Putting vast sums of money into very few hands is a death knell for the capitalist consumption method our economy operates on today.

Jail....ALL OF THEM need to be in prison, cozying up with the general population and being handed around as lovers for all the hardened (Pun intended) men.

Re: “AP: Otter Had Prior Knowledge, Tried to Warn ENA of Fed Cutoff of Broadband Funds

No one can be surprised by this information. I do believe that some school districts were able to save money with there local broadband contracts? Something worth noting. Do you think Butch Otter's mother dropped him on his head when he was a baby?

If their legal yes. If they're illegal deport them. Illegals take jobs, cost bankruptcy to hospitals, our welfare systems, congest our prison systems, raise our crime, congest our schools, the anchor children our a problem, and congestion on the roads is horrible and the wages would return to a better wage for Legal Americans.

Re: “Historian on University of Idaho Cover-Up: 'Misplaced Instinct'

1000 acres how it is racism?

Minorities but depicted in anything but the most holy of lights is racism these days. God help us all. It's not racist to show you what happened in history.

Re: “Historian on University of Idaho Cover-Up: 'Misplaced Instinct'

Take it down. It's offensive and disgusting. It's blatant racism.

Re: “Historian on University of Idaho Cover-Up: 'Misplaced Instinct'

Preserve it the best you can, even if it means to replicate it or do extensive photography, but move it out of the building. The building has changed it's purpose, so should the art also be able to be changed.

Concordia could use the mural to depict what happens when you employ one of their graduates. TFIC

Too bad it is such bad art. That in itself is enough reason to take it down.

Re: “Historian on University of Idaho Cover-Up: 'Misplaced Instinct'

Thanks Dan for being the voice of reason in this debate. It is sad that an educational institution is not educated enough to realize what it is looking at. I spent several years giving tours, interviews, writing articles, etc., on this same subject and here we are back at square one. Score one more for ignorance and one less for reason.

It depends on if they are legal or illegal aliens.

Good! The hispanic workers are the best people. They work hard and are the best asset we have now. Keep them coming. Welcome them. Respect them. Oh, and , by the by, they pay taxes.

Donaldaq63 violates the basic rule of civil discourse -- one can disagree without being disagreeable.

When you resort to name-calling, profanity, and just general unneighborliness, your arguments -- regardless of their merit -- get lost in the noise.

Nothing made by men endures. Not monuments, not cultures, not even religions. Let love and happiness prevail over ignorance, hatred, denial, and intolerance.

Re: “Idaho Legal Scholar: SCOTUS Same-Sex Ruling 'Earns Its Place in History Books'

@ Steve Colson. Quit your whining and crying 'end of Murika' chants. They are tiresome, BORING, and just plain incorrect. People like you are a dying breed. The problem is, you aren't dying fast enough.
I imagine fools like you, and Gubnor Buttch Otter, cheered the Citizens United decision...the one that allowed billionaires and their corporations nearly unlimited power in selecting and electing our leaders at the local, state and federal level.

Keep crying, bitch, because reasonable, sane, and intelligent people know who to avoid and will tune out your worthless rhetoric more easily.

Re: “Idaho Legal Scholar: SCOTUS Same-Sex Ruling 'Earns Its Place in History Books'

Your words were probably spoken when interracial or interreligious marriages were ultimately deemed legal, but that's for another time. Re "the Court," don't you mean decisions from the Conservative-majority Supreme Court? Then surely you're also referring to "Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission," which granted corporations unlimited spending in elections. Or "Baze v. Rees" (lethal injection isn't cruel and unusual punishment). Or...you get the picture. Yeah, it's pretty clear this right-appointed court (whose approval the left barely contested) is nudging our Rome-like empire in the wrong direction, but our militarism, nationalism, greed, and disregard for the environment, education, literacy, science, logic, etc., aren't helping...
