Congratulations on joining the Small Herd Exemption program. I believe Marvin Patten (head of dairy at Idaho USDA) thought that the program would be shut down in the early days due to someone getting sick from unpasteurized milk. In four years it has not happened....came close down here in Magic Valley with milk that had "Streptococcus too numerous to count" (goat owner encouraged to raise calves/pigs) and over by Idaho Falls/Pocatello..."Q-Fever" (animals doctored and healthy now). Q-Fever is a common bacteria that is everywhere.
More people are waking up to wanting natural, healthy food choices, I find. As for the dairies losing lots of milk customers to Unpasteurized (REAL) milk...no, the dairies already lost the customers as they've been going to Alternative milks (almond, coconut, soy, etc) for years now. I find most people that buy Unpasteurized milk to be VERY informed about the "risks" that MAY occur with drinking REAL milk.
Good luck in your endeavor.

Technically, Garden City everyone!
Fantastic! Sounds like a great place to meet up with friends and great for Boise.
Very cool! This is a very positive and great thing for the city of Boise.
I just want to call out GOODMUSIC71. You are a moron! The Schnitzel IS DEEP FRIED, Maybe that is the reason why they did not print your ignorant letter. Before pointing fingers, you need to know what the hell you are talking about.
These people convey the human tradition with the milk cow: care and compassion. This is in contrast the the Idaho Legislature's view of abuse of cows with the ultra right wing, protect one industry at any cost, ag gag law. Butch Otter is complicit.
Where to buy?, if there is no website, are there any other quality caviar place you can suggest?.
The Modern doing brunch? This is pretty much the best news ever.
