Re: “Surprise Valley Clubhouse

This place is perfect for any kind of party for any age. I have lived in the neighborhood all my life, and have loved coming here in the summer to swim and even using the clubhouse part in the winter for parties. Sometimes in the, summer it is fun to go to the downstairs part and workout and then go swimming and take a bike ride or a run back to your house.

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

Most people mess up my white chocolate americano but they did a great job and, unlike starbucks, their frapp├ęs taste good without espresso. I liked the place but after reading up on the owners I'm torn.

Re: “Sam's Saloon

The only place in the valley with $2.50 drinks. Mike's is also $2.50. Level pool table. Worth the drive from Nampa.

Re: “Alia's Coffeehouse

A very nice place to go to talk or read or just think, and the coffee is good as well. The people are nice as well as the service.

Re: “Panda Garden

This place is great, the food is good, the prices affordable, the service groovy, and the ingredients wholesome. This is a great place to go for any occasion, I take people there all the time.

Re: “10th N. Street Station

Since new owner Dan K. took over a few months ago (maybe closer to a year now) 10th Street Station has improved vastly. Higher-end liquors, better beers, and proper pint-sized pours! And say what you will about the smoking ban, this place desperately needed cleaner air. There aren't a lot of places that don't blare music all night, and although when it's crowded it can be loud inside, it's still a pleasant place to be most times.

Re: “Crescent Brewery

This place is worth finding, great ales. Jerry and staff are real friendly. Take your growler and get a fill-up for later. They generally have music on Saturdays and comedy/open mic during the week. No food but you can bring it with you...

The address is actually 1521 Front Street in downtown Nampa. Take 15th Avenue South off of 1st Street South (head towards the tracks), go right on Front street (looks like an alley), Brewery is on the left.

Re: “Fresh Betty Spaghetti

Fantastic meatballs. Great flavor and LARGE! Noodles could be thinner. Overall, a hit. Reasonably priced. Need to come to Boise.

Re: “The Egg Factory

Very good menu, excellent service even when it's really busy, rainbow pancakes for the kiddos, good eggs benedict, but the coffee is bad.

Re: “The Lift Bar and Grill

Great Prices, Good Food, Great Patio, what more can you ask for.
When my wife and I want to go out for a casual relaxing afternoon the Lift comes to mind. Drinks are well priced, the food I've ordered has been good and service also has been very good.
It's not fancy but comfortable and my wife loves the shady patio (dog friendly), so does Pedro, our daughter's little dog.
I almost gave them 5 stars, went with 4, but they are one of our favorite places when we want to go to this sort of place!

Re: “10 Barrel Brewing Co.

Good food, good atmosphere, gotta love the 10 beer sampler. The BLAST is orgasmic. A little pricy in my opinion but still a great place to check out

Re: “Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria-Downtown

Excellent food, solid service, one of the best in Boise for late-night dining.

Re: “Star Cafe

I'd give the Star a 5 Star rating, but the place needs repairs and remodeling badly. The food is good, old fashioned home cooking that has always been delicious. There is a 'special' dinner every night of the week. Try their French Dip sandwich without cheese. A neighbor complained that the hamburgers and fries were greasy, but I've only ordered well-done burgers (never greasy) and extra crispy fries, so no complaints here. This is also one place I can hardily recommend the meatloaf over what mom used to make.

Re: “The Bird Stop Coffee House

We are in Caldwell and it's so refreshing to have a place to sit down and have a nice cup of coffee. They have sandwiches, muffins, Dawson Taylor coffee and, during the evening, they serve wine and beer. We have been once to see the live music and my girls loved it; we're going tonight to enjoy some music out on the patio. I'm going to have an iced coffee and my husband is looking forward to one of the microbrews on tap. Thanks so much, Bird Stop, Caldwell desperately needed this!

Re: “Cosmic Pizza

Loved the jalepeno popper pizza, it's totally addictive. And the beer is priced right!
