Pretty Sure this is a picture of Castle Peak (on the Left) and Merriam Peak on the right. Taken from Little Boulder Creek.
They make brakes for a reason, just like we have hazard lights for a reason. If the car in front of you has on your hazards and you can't get over safely (look over your damn shoulder to check blind-spots, don't use just your mirrors) then you slow the hell down. If you can't follow safety laws as such, which include safe following distances, etc. then you shouldn't be driving. Justin and Katie did nothing wrong, the idiot who rear ended them is the one at fault here. The life of my nephew should never have been taken so suddenly because someone was in a hurry and couldn't be bothered to apply common sense and slow down.
This development also violates almost every single value and goal laid out by the Boise Master Plan and Foothills Management Plan. This is the only public access to open space or parks on the East side of Crane Creek. All the residents who can see the foothills and almost touch them will have to drive into town to access them. Where are the Parks Department and Open Space planners in this??
Your husband murdered her son you can justify that however you want he should of been watching where he was going.. He should of payed attention to the vehicles ahead of him... My friends lost theres son and all you can do is cover for what your husbanddid if that was my child id gladly put your husband behind bars... How ever you put it your husband murdered a child bottom point.
Rear ending a vehicle is against the law, no matter the reason. Steven Shelly was obviously in a hurry, and had no regard for those around him. Steven Shelly took a life, took dreams and turned them into nightmares. Steven Shelly should be punished for his blatant disregard for those around him, charged for killing this beautiful baby.
I realize you are trying to defend the actions of someone who plowed into my daughter and Justin's car killing my grandbaby. However there is no justification for inatentive driving. He was following way to close to the vehicle who moved over or he would have had time to slow and move over. People have hazards on there cars for a reason. As far as I'm concerned my grandson would still be here if he was following Idaho laws. His death is a result of his actions. He had a choice to slow down instead of maintaining high rate of speed. I really wish you where the ones who had to hold my daughter as we watch her go through literally the hardest thing imaginable. So please stop defending him and his actions. You where not there!
I agree with Kathern Powell. She lost her son at the hands of a man that doesn't know how to drive. He is guilty of killing that little boy and he should be punished for it.
The article also doesn't mention all of Steven Shelly's previous speeding and failure to provide insurance violations which are publicly listed on the Idaho Repository demonstrating a total lack of concern for others while behind the wheel. Only now, his speeding and evidently, based on Angela's statement, following too closely has taken a very innocent life and caused unimaginable pain and grieving. It is perfectly legal to drive under the speed limit in the state of Idaho, and often recommended when having car trouble. It is 100% illegal to rear end another vehicle.
Angela Shelly, I am the mother of Kameron FitzPatrick. He was 10 weeks old when he died, please tell me how that is tragic for Steve. Our hazards were very visible when Steve struck us from behind due to a stripped tire. Steve being an experienced drive should have moved into the other lane like dozens of other drivers before him. Justify murdering my child how you want but his blood is on Steves hands. You want the facts ask the parents who spent 2 days at the bedside in st.lukes...
Dear Bill are you really that stupid, have you even read this DEAL. They have already started cheating on this Deal. Your own Chucky Schumer says its bad, Its in the side deals that no one gets to see there is no mention of where and to who this tons of uranium goes to, Ha the Russians they'll store it for them since there war minsters just met 2 weeks ago I'm sure they will have a couple big arms sales of ballistic missiles to trade for it. The pentagon does not like it at all though they can't say that publicly, and do remember North Korea's deal this the same deal and see how that worked out.
When will execution be a penalty for terrorism? I don't want to pay for this creep to live all those years in jail?? I guess you still have to kill or maim in this country to get the death penalty.

The apostrophe does indeed belong there. It (the apostrophe) makes the word possessive.
Many, if not most, inmates suffer from mental health problems, whether they be genetic or environmentally induced. Idaho is infamous for childhood abuse, physical and mental. So just put the abused out of sight? Subject them to inhuman conditions that are sins and shames? ENOUGH!!
Tour De Flat
I want to know Marley's view on the oil & gas industry coming into the state and especially here into the Treasure valley. Will he oppose fracking and stand up for citizen's property rights and the preservation of our water and air here?
That fire was very suspicious and his sister just has temporary custody of the restaurant. He'll get it back when he gets out.
they gonna have to hustle real fast to get out there after opening at Alive After 5, but maybe they got a secret teleporter tube or somethin'
For the faint of heart, there could be an annex on the Painted Desert where participants went at each other with Paintball gear....
