Here's a fine example of Scott in his acoustic element - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WaQAoLDl4g

Re: “Scott Law

Multifaceted artist Scott Law is an accomplished guitar master, singer-songwriter and recording artist operating at the very highest level of his craft. Hailed as an “esteemed flatpicker” by Acoustic Guitar, Law is equally reverent and inventive on steel strings whether in a lead or supporting role.

Law’s versatility on the guitar ranges from the flatpicking school of Doc Watson, to the hardcore country pickings of Clarence White, Albert Lee and Don Rich, to the electric blues of Mike Bloomfield, while also giving a feel and fluidity reminiscent of Jerry Garcia.

A not-so-secret weapon sought after for his distinctive ability to elevate the potency of any collaboration, Law is a fearless improviser. His original songs and story-like solos come straight from the heart of rock, r&b, country and bluegrass, granting him the creative latitude to constantly push the envelope and deliver an unforgettable experience.

Law has performed with an array of bluegrass, American roots, rock and jam band luminaries including Phil Lesh & Friends, longtime musical accomplices The String Cheese Incident, Darol Anger, Tim & Nicki Bluhm, Tony Furtado, The Mother Hips, Crooked Still, Peter Rowan, The Travelin' McCourys, Leftover Salmon, Danny Barnes, Railroad Earth, Jerry Joseph, Melvin Seals and more.

Re: “JUMP Into Salsa Dancing

Someone needs to instruct the instructors of this salsa class and the bachata class that goes with it. They are teaching steps that don't make sense and are changing counts as they go. This is not salsa. This is some sort of made up dance. If you want to learn salsa or bachata that you can actually use in the real world of social dancing, please look somewhere else. Don't waste your money here.

Re: “Izumi Japanese Steak House and Lounge Grand Opening

Me and my husband went and ate at Izumi restaurant tonight. We are not drinkers at all, the chef had a squirt bottle with Sake in it and was squirting it in people's mouth during the course of our meal continually. Good thing I wasn't first when they squirted it was like a frat party. Very unprofessional. Plus they were squirting sake in all parts of the food they were cooking chanting Sake, Sake, Sake. We have been to more professional Restaurants.

Come on, Chandlers. Get rid of this bum. There are better musicians in Boise, and your customers deserve better.

Re: “10 Barrel’s ‘Rose Bois’ Fancy Beer Release Party

I was at this event, and mentioned the advertised 6pm taster of the new beer, and they were genuinely confused. I had to show them the posting to be believed. I'm curious how this came to be, because that was pretty much the main draw coming here, and otherwise I'd need to shell out $18 minimum to even try it.

Not everyone uses Facebook. It's lazy to use it solely for information about your event.
