Re: “Echelon Fine Home

My wife and I have shopped at Echelon for the last two years. In that time we've got to know the owners and staff on a first name basis. The experience has been positive from the beginning. My wife and I built a home and the Echelon staff took the time to come to our new home and ask questions about our style and interests. Not only did we furnish our entire family room and living room, they also helped us with the presentation. Echelon has many styles whatever yours maybe. The furniture we ordered arrived in a timely manner, and we were updated periodically on its status. I would recommend Echelon to anyone looking to create a atmosphere full of fine furnishing.

Re: “Echelon Fine Home

Echelon is a joke! do not shop here. Waited and waited for my order, Amy basically laughed at how long it was taking and offered a 25 dollar instore credit and wouldn't even deliver furniture when it arrived. I would sit on blow up furniture before I shopped here again.

Re: “Crooked Flats

Great food (not typical pub fare) on an ever changing menu to compliment their Crooked Fence beers. Great in the summer to sit outside and listen to music, and cozy in the cooler weather inside. Worth the trip!

Re: “Cylos Grill and Lounge-Eagle

Last night there was more talent on one stage than Boise has had in a long time. Riff Raff was absolutely awesome. They don't play typical cover tunes, they have ability to stretch boundaries and play some riveting stuff. The bar is clean, great fast friendly service, great ambiance, and truly a jewel to experience in Eagle.

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

I have been there twice. First time was Brit Pink Floyd. Second was the PIXIES.. Had a good time on both (just because of the bands). Sound was decent in my opinion. I will have to agree on the professionalism.. IT SUCKED.. Stood in line for 45 min to get a beer.. Got to the front and saw why... ONLY 1 BARTENDER!! ARE YOU KIDDING?? What made it worse was he was pouring and taking money. The place was packed.. And everyone was paying with debit cards and only one machine.. to make it worse.. I think there needs some changes at that place.. I will stick to other venues.. Knitting Factory.. Way better venue..

Re: “Keynetics Inc.

This company is a fake. They share the 917 Lusk address with Clickbank and Eminent Computers. These companies take advantage of people by taking their money because they think they have something wrong with their computer. Popup ads from these companies will not stop coming up on personal computers until you pay them money. The owners of these companies hide behind belong to Shakespear festival boards, and boards of Boise ID.

Re: “The Dish

Service lacks at dinner. Food is bland and unimaginative. Spent $80 on dinner and felt like I was being treated like a second rate customer. Sandwiches are okay, but who cares when Bluebird is right on the corner.

Re: “Bella Aquila

We went to Bella Aquila the first time on Mother's Day 2014 and had an early dinner 4:30 PM because that was the only time available. Our waiter said that they had over 400 people there that morning/afternoon for brunch. We were impressed that the waiter was so pleasant after serving people all day. The food was GREAT, service wonderful. I am gluten free and they had pasta for me! We took 2 other couples there for dinner in October, 2014 and again, GREAT! Will be back soon with 12 ladies for lunch! Make your reservations direct with restaurant.

Re: “Moxie Java and More-Five Mile

I use this wonderful Moxie as my office :). The site has private tables where business can be conducted while enjoying their wonderful coffee and stupendous sandwiches and deserts. I've been using this site for a few years now and find it is my go to place for both personal and professional meetings.

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

Stiffed Contractor, you are not the only person they stiffed. They got me good when they shut down their Fort Lee location. Rumor has it they ditched Boise and are on the run again.

Re: “Epi's Basque Restaurant

My wife and I celebrated our engagement here and have since celebrated many anniversaries, as well. I'm very happy to say that this is the best restaurant in the Boise/Meridian/Eagle area in terms of food, atmosphere, and charm. I've since moved out of the area and miss it dearly -- nothing quite like it anywhere I've been!

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

Travis and Kristi do not pay the debt they owe. I am a contractor and was stiffed on services rendered. Warning don't provide services to them.

Re: “Vista Village Shopping Center

If the Boise weakly likes it, then it most likely sucks.

Re: “Luciano's Italian Restaurant

We just moved to Boise and I feel most restaurants are not very good! We came from Boulder, CO. amazing restaurants everywhere. Tonight we looked to see what had the highest ratings that was close to where we live and found Luciano's they did not disappoint! Service was amazing our food was amazing, everything was well seasoned, great menu choices, and their were a lot of people there when we arrived at 5:00 which is always a good sign! They need to expand as it is small but well worth the trip!

Re: “PowerHouse Event Center

Such TERRIBLE management. I wish I could give negative stars. We had our wedding reception at the Powerhouse on August 2nd. Their in-house caterer also did dinner for us, and the food was delicious, I will give them that.

However, when we verbally said that we would be having them do the food for our wedding, they took the liberty of charging the credit card that we had used to pay the venue fee with. NO contract had been signed allowing them to charge anything, NOTHING had been said about allowing them to use that card. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that or is that not credit card fraud? Don't worry, that's just the beginning: not only did they charge the $2,600 deposit without authorization, they charged it THREE TIMES. Three!! When we called to see what in the world happened to almost $8,000, they were blatantly unapologetic and explained that $2,600 was for the deposit, and $2,600 was for the remaining balance (STILL NO AUTHORIZATION TO EVEN RUN THAT CARD). Fine. We figured we were going to pay that $5,200 anyway, so fine. They claimed the 3rd $2,600 charge was an accident and would be refunded immediately. This FIRST refund promise was in early June. After many empty promises of reimbursement, followed by months of unanswered phone calls and emails, here we are in the middle of November and we have STILL not been refunded that $2,600!! Needless to say, we will be seeing them in small claims court.

The management at this place is so atrocious, I would never in a million years recommend it to anyone. The day of our wedding, the "event coordinator," Jennifer, had the worst attitude I've ever seen, especially for a (self-proclaimed) professional. It was horrible. They had been asked at 10:00 that morning to turn on the air conditioning, so when did it finally get turned on? About halfway through dinner at 6:30 that evening, after the place was packed full of 200+ HOT people and the best man had to practically BEG Jennifer McSunshine to turn it on (I realize a tiny bit of that is my bad for having a wedding in early August, but really? NO A/C??).

The Powerhouse is a gorgeous building, and it's very unfortunate that these people are running it into the ground like this. On the bright side, at this rate they'll be out of business SOON, so hopefully someone that has half a brain can take over.

Re: “Revolution Concert House and Event Center

this place sucks for all previously mentions reasons. The owners have Walmarted Concerts to offer absolutely NOTHING to the attendee except admission, and them they save on overhead and increase profits by assuming that the low life's that come don't deserve chairs, reserved seating, decent lighting and just let the crowd worm up to the stage while spilling their drinks on the way, sell triple the amount of VIP tickets so the late arrivals can pay triple and stand in front of the seated VIP's that got there on time. But they don't notice because they are in the office counting their MONEY.

Re: “Johnny's Fit Club-East Boise

Stay away from this place! They advertise as a $10/month gym, but that doesn't include the insane sign up fee, November maintenance fee, and cancellation charge. I signed up in October, had my work transfer me to Salt Lake City a few weeks later, and now paying about a HUNDRED BUCKS for TWO MONTHS of membership!!

I talked to the manager and he just said that was too bad. Talk about AWFUL customer service!

Re: “River of Life Rescue Mission

Witnessed the most anti-christian behavior the other night as I attempted to leave an donation at this place, found out afterwards that most of the staff are convicted felons and should not be allowed to work with our vet's, elderly or vulnerable, very disrespectful conduct that should never be condoned, this place needs to be investigated and these convict's fired and caring professionals who can treat people with dignity and respect hired who can help these vulnerable vet's, elderly and give them hope once again!!!
