Justin, what I said was "I kinda like it." Now that I know more, I still kinda like it, especially since he chose windows which are easy to clean.
Lame sauce. While I appreciate your validation of my original comment, the text of the article directly contradicts it. You're trying to have it both ways here, and it doesn't wash, except as a whitewash. I expected better of Boise Weekly.
I own a local small business that grosses over $600K per year. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
George, you totally blew the Occupy Boise news story with an insulting but refutable accusation. I might review my tape but believe Guglielmetti said "$27K," not "$20-27K." Evidently you are a CCDC cheerleader in your spare time. Thanks for the editorials.
David Hanson, affordable housing is part of CCDC's charter, and they've performed dismally with OUR tax dollars in that respect. Instead, they're gifting $4M to Zions Bank, a profitable bailout bank and the subject of a Class Action lawsuit regarding excessive fees which they will almost surely lose based on precedent. How many square feet of Section 8 housing could that $4M purchase, so that a few low-income workers might be able to live nearer their places of work?
It's you who weren't paying attention, George. There was a Mic Check during the Macy's testimony relating to the lack of any housing requirement at all in the Zions Bank project. This is writing worthy of a retraction.
