This restaurant was responsible for one of the worst nights of my life. The hostess was ticked that we showed up early for our reservation and over the fact my husband and I only drank water. The portions were incredibly small and not very tasty for how much money each was. I understand that this restaurant is trying to give people the "french" experience but with nothing to explain what that experience is or information, I was lost. The rudeness of server and hostess saying "In France we-". Well that's great. But without any explanation, I don't know what I should do! I didn't order right, I didn't pay right. I didn't drink a bottle of wine right. But without instructions on how to do all of that right, I am bound to make mistakes. A simple "This is how your dining experience will differ" pamphlet on the table would have made my evening at least moderately better. Instead I left hungry, frustrated, and much much poorer.
This is a great article! Thank you. I would like to see even more articles like this. I think the growing movement of knowing where your food comes from is a great one. Thank you for pointing out these wonderful farms. I look forward to tracking down the food they offer.
