why can't you people wait until the exhibit starts to say that the work in Boise isn't up to par, especially with the museum. I am a BSU student and I love getting into the museum for free. It is often overlooked and trivialized by a lot of art people. I may not be a high ranking art person, and in fact not even an artist, but I do know that the museum offers great exhibits, and like the other comment (boise7634) I think that the artists in town who are complaining about the museum need to look harder and start asking themselves tougher questions. Audobon may not be contemporary work, but how many people made it to the art talk with the guy who came and talked about and impersonated audobon and talked even about contemporary ideas and how they related to the birds. Open your eyes, we do not have a MOMA here, but BAM is certainly not what you say it is.
