and mayor bieter turned his head and did not aply for a $25mil Fed. Grant for rail b/c they could "only do a one way" line. i.e. they could do a line from the depot thru BSU to downtown. But bieter wants a circulator and maybe someday later connect to the depot. Over 100 cities rec'd these grants, but BOI did not apply. Thanks bieter!
The way an organization separates with folks usually says more about its culture than anything else. They should not be surprised when their customers and employees reciprocate. The Co-op has lots for room for improvement and ken was responsible as the GM. However, instead of working for improvement, the board has just delivered a message to the most valuable assets (the employees and customers) to please go to Whole foods or Henry’s. Brilliant! It will be sad to see it fail.
