I grew up in the Midwest and this restaurant is a welcome reprieve from the food I have been subject to at most Boise area restaurants. They may many dishes from scratch including their soups, several entries, and deserts. I love their breaded pork tenderloin and Itallian beef sandwiches—I have not had these for several years and Pinnacle made them as good as I remember them back home. The owner has been in during several of my visits and took the time to greet me and my party and made sure our experience was first rate. We have made Pinnacle a regular on our restaurant rotation.
LOL--I would have never read this review had the owner of Barbacoa not taken out a full page ad in the Statesman. I do agree that the restaurant is Vegas like and over top as far as the décor and noise goes. It is good to know what to expect before heading out for a diner. I am not going to cry a river for them as it appears that Barbacoa is doing very well as a nightclub. The only risk there is that nightclubs don’t tend to have the staying power of a top quality restaurant.
