I sort of get this joke. A little (?) My son has Type I Diabetes, and my former supervisor died from Type I Diabetes. A friend with Type II Diabetes is currently hospitalized. I could go listing folks with this disease, but won't. Like I said, I guess I DO see the humor here.
This paper just keeps getting better!!!
It was pretty clear why de' Otter mon' insisted that every candidate participate in this debate! Something needed to make him look like the best option. This was by far, one of the most entertaining moments I had as I waited for warm weather to commence.
“When six corporations control more than 90% of media communications, the media does not inform, it indoctrinates. Corporate media provides selective information, often unreliable, for the express purpose of controlling public opinion, rather than informing it.” —Egberto Willies published on Common Dreams
NEVER in my 60 years on this planet; not (even!) growing up in West Virginia, and living for eight years in the U.S. Virgin islands...have I EVER encountered such blatant media bias!!! Yes, it has been pulled...but the CHOICE speaks volumes! I will have NOTHING more to do with this network. Period.
Some state representatives, especially ones that may have a DUI bust; will say ANY THING they think the voters (who are afraid), want to hear. Being checked out before buying a gun is a violation of one's constitutional rights? Come on!!! I had to get checked out to get a driver's license to drive a car. An even stricter test is required to drive a big truck. Even a blood test for a marriage license! I see no one saying these things violate their constitutional rights.
I certainly hope these evil meanies are caught! As a child development specialist AND an animal activist; I can tell you...these two have already been practicing AND humans will be next.
