Darn typos. Edit: A few note(s) about myself...
Hi Gerald, I am one of those activists from Moscow who you are generalizing about. I don't drive a car and I use as little resources as I can, but I am not perfect. Also, polemics and hyperbolic statements really are of little practical use... unless you watch Fox News (see how that works).
A few note about myself: I am a fly fisherman, I shoot guns, and I would like to preserve those things for future generations. You probably want the same thing. So what we don't agree on how to get there. Live and let live... right?! I am within the law to protest and stop these loads through the legal system. Workers here really aren't getting much out of this. South Korea, China, and Canada are seeing much of the economic benefit. Do you call truck drivers stopping for food and lodging an economic windfall? We really are selling ourselves short if that is the case. Manufacturing jobs for service sector jobs is not the kind of growth you want, is it?
Wow... though I am an environmental activist, I find the earlier post juvenile to say the least. Threats, even in retort to threats, are useless (it's the internet). Second, it isn't over if you have been paying any attention to this issue. These loads are still able to travel up US 95 to I 90.
