Ron Paul refused the Congressional pension so he would be in the same boat as his constituents with social security, did you know that? The other congressmen haven't been paying in at all. As far as I am concerned he is the ONLY one qualified to speak on this. Yes, the PROGRAM is unconstitutional by the federal government, however, once paid for a contract right is a property right also protected by the Constitution. His program and budget would pay for all who paid in to get benefits and let those under 25 CHOOSE to get out IF THEY WANT since with devaluation of money through inflation caused by the Federal Reserve, you don't get back as much PURCHASING POWER as the dollars taken from you over time had.
This is a GOOD thing.
That is absolutely hilarious!
This from Santorum, who voted FOR No Child Left Behind and doubling the size of the federal department of education!
Folks, everyone sounds like Ron Paul at election time. Check their records -- then caucus for Ron Paul.
The Dept of Education was created in the late 1970s. We had public education before that. The states only get 10% of their funding from the federal government and a lot of that is spent complying with federal mandates.
Hundreds as in thirteen hundred? http://gallery.mailchimp.com/9b8827e2d9e8f…
It will be great to see what he can get on more than one day's notice!
